Re: Opera Mobile 9.7 out Monday!?

I didn't see this mentioned but does anyone have strange fonts popping up in the browser???

I'm using Psyki3 Rom. His opera works fine but Opera 9.7 gives a font that almost looks like old English.

Or can someone give a way to change this? I want to jump on the 9.7 bandwagon too.

B) I used the "scroll wheel" on the touch pro to zoom, and that feature no longer works.

Other than that it seems like a decent broswer, but I don't know where people think it's faster than opera mini. It is when the page starts loading, but there is a BIG lag from the time I press enter to when the page starts to load.

PS I'm using MightyROM 5
I agree with all your points including your PS. You can access zoom with a tap and hold gesture but that kind of sucks.

I also dont esp. like the way this preformats the text although this might be part of the speed.

I'd also include C) The favorites on SPB Mobile Shell wont see this version of Opera even though it is indeed the default.

All in all 9.7 is extremely fast and I really like both turbo and non turbo mode. I find turbo mode blows away skyfire.

thats a good read, im done with it, its a hogg also. 5mb is too much for what im getting. 16277 is plenty fast plus i like the wheel zoom and my passwords all work. i think they should have tested more like skyfire did.

Re: Opera Mobile 9.7 out Monday!?

Does anyone know how to remap the internet icon in TF3D to launch 9.7 instead of 9.5?

I'm already loving it even without the turbo mode on.

Biggest problem is the thing with some sites always displaying mobile mode.

I uninstalled it but can the problems with sites being displayed in Mobile View be configured in Opera:Config?

Re: Opera Mobile 9.7 out Monday!?

My only issue with it so far is that text always wraps. Other than that, I'm thoroughly enjoying the faster zooming and panning. Kinetic scrolling is also so much better now.
