SBSH GoNews Touch is an rss feeder that shows pic previews, not free, but it was just released. WMExperts and FuzeMobility both did reviews of it.

Thanks for that GG. It was "almost" just the thing i was looking for. Not having a today plugin is a bummer for me. Thanks for sharing anyway though.

Spb insight can be found here.

As far as newspanel, I'm not sure. I think it may be under user accounts over at marsware, but you have to sign in. However, that sites extremely dated and hasnt' been used in years. The development of weatherpanel was taken over by storyr (a member here). Also, no search of mine could find newspanel. So I don't know where you'd get it.
