An app like the iPhones Redlaser

Of course we all have at least one friend with an iPhone (you shouldn't be calling him your friend if this is true).

My friend and I were having a face off my Merdin's 6.5 beta Touch Pro vs his new iPhone "3G", I've pretty much won all battles except for this damn REDLASER app, which I admit is pretty slick.

Was wondering if you anyone knew of an app similar to this for our WinMo phones?

If you don't know what REDLASER; is its an app for iphones which lets users scan barcodes (but wait there's more),it then will search for the cheapest book,CD, HDD, you name I think it found pretty much anything at Fry's Electronics. The software scans the barcodes and searches some online database then tells you if there's a store near you with a cheaper product.

aint that just like the ibarcode reader but i could be wrong but i beleave thats what that is..

I think but I don't think it looks up prices after it read the barcode, i could be wrong though.

Yes, Barcorama. Search Google. It's really nice, but uses a browser instead of the actual application. You can tell it the search engine you want it to use.

I use barcorama and i-nigma but find fast price check to be better, input is manual not camera but does a nice internet search for the product. Can be found at http://www.fastpricecheck.com Hit Thanks if this helps you out.

I'm not 100% sure about this. But I thought you could tweak barcorama to search whatever website database you wanted, including fastpricecheck.com

it's been awhile since I used it so I could be wrong though.
