Streaming Music from Archive.org
many people are aware of Archive.org, right? They contain thousands of live concerts from hundreds of artists and musicians, among many other things like the Text Archive and the Internet Wayback machine.
I'm trying to find a good way to stream music from the Live Music Archive on Archive.org. they provide all the music in MP3 format, and even a link to stream the MP3's via an M3U file, but i can't seem to be able to open it on my Touch Pro. I can stream music directly from the site in SkyFire due to the built in music player they have in their browser, but i can't find a better way to do it outside of Skyfire. Anyone have any ideas? here's a few concert pages with all the MP3s on it as well as the music player if someone wants to check it out. You'll see on the left side a link to the VBR or the 64kpbs M3U streaming files, or at the top right you'll see the built in music player. the music player appears in Skyfire, but no other browser (because it's flash). http://www.archive.org/details/kw2001-03-22.sbd.flac16 http://www.archive.org/details/gfc2004-02-12 http://www.archive.org/details/TheDead2009-05-07.C-483 |
