Yes. At google.com/voice, after you login, go to settings>Voicemail & SMS>SMS Forwarding, then check the box to forward SMS to email.

This works very well for me.

Well, I guess visual voicemail and the txt messaging would work, but I couldn't get either to work. The thing with this dialer is, when you place an outbound call, your GV number calls you back, you pick up the phone and it's connected to the party you were calling. So to make/receive calls, you need phone service.

Do any of these apps not require a service plan that use minutes? I mean if you think about yes its free but this thread would be so much more kick *** if these apps used only data to place and receive calls/sms. mms would be sweet too. I was GVdialer goes only thru data.. is this correct? WIFI is free so that would rock.

This application works kinda like GVDialer and iDialer in the fact that it utilizes your Google Voice account to make phone calls. The difference is, I use the Wifi or data link on your phone to place the calls and send/receive SMS (text) messages.

ok so this one dialer doesnt use the calling plan what so ever just all thru internet like FRING and Nimbuzz.. well i can get texts messages and send them with onedialer... but when i try to call a local number ten digits... i get an error "Error dialing number - Network Error"

Any idea why its doing this? the setup should be right since i can send and receive texts with my GV number correct?

*edit* Just read over on xda developers that this only uses data for the vm and sms and minutes for the calls.

I have been using this for about two months. There are quirks... However the new version .24 is working great..

Tip: 1.erase the whole onedialer folder \programs\onedialer.

2. reinstall current version.
3. soft reset
4. imput your info "Correctly" (I am guilty of failng this step)
5. Let her rip... hahhaaahahhaha
