Work around for RSS Hub Scrolling in WM 6.5?

I just installed WM6.5 and notice that scrolling does not work anymore for RSS Hub. Is there a work around for this?

not sure what you mean cause it works for. the only time finger scrolling is disabled in RSSH is when you're viewing an article in which case you can slide the scrollbar or use the D-pad. this is caused by the way that RSSH is programmed.....this loss of finger scroll doesn't happen in emails.....

Re: Work around for RSS Hub Scrolling in WM 6.5?

Scrolling "worked" in WM6.1 for RSS items. The whole reason I upgraded to a WM6.5 ROM is because of how badly WM6.1 scrolled outside of TF3D. Come to find out it doesn't scroll *at all* in RSS items under 6.5. How ironic. Any fixes? It selects text instead of scrolling. WM6.1 was cute with scrolling because it would scroll or select text depending on how hard you pressed. What a nightmare that was. But I want scrolling back for RSS!!

hey guys. I am experiencing the same thing with rss hub and mdigger reader. But the good news is Bonz's 6.5 rom v2.5 does scroll normally. Not sure how he did but it works. you should try it out if you have a cdma diamond.

Re: Work around for RSS Hub Scrolling in WM 6.5?

I'm speculating here, but I think that it worked under 6.1, because it didn't have finger scrolling, and instead used TouchFlo for scrolling, but now 6.5 includes a native scrolling engine that works a bit different than TouchFlo, and that's the reason it isn't working like it used to.

Re: Work around for RSS Hub Scrolling in WM 6.5?

I don't think RSS used TF3D scrolling in 6.1 on the stock ROM, because it scrolled like dog crap. Regular, ugly, native 6.1 scrolling.

Re: Work around for RSS Hub Scrolling in WM 6.5?

I dunno if it would work but I don't think a 3rd party solution is the answer. Terrible as it was, RSS in WM6.1 did finger scroll.

yeah i'm not sure what's going on ... it actually did work in a few other builds of 6.5 no problem... this issue is such a pain cause i'm sure it's just one small detail that's been changed or omitted on accident.
