Backup programs

Are there any real differences as far as data recovery between Resco Backup, SPB Backup, and Sprite backup?

Re: Backup programs

I can tell you SPB has worked flawlessly for me for the year and a half I've been using it.

Re: Backup programs

I have looked at the trial versions for all 3 and they seem to have the same fuctionality. I like the interface of the spb the best.

Re: Backup programs

I now like sprite backup the best. I used spb backup for almost 2 years, and couldnt have been any happier with it. Until, my back ups were getting too large for one file, so it was splitting it up into 2 files. Thats when i started have restore issues. Backing up and restoring was/is to important for me, so even getting one error was cause for concern. Ever since i switched to sprite, no errors and no issues. Just my 2 cents.

Same here.

When I had my Titan/Mogul systems SPB worked perfectly & I did a TON of restores.

Then I switched to the TouchPro & the problems started with restores messing up. I switched to the latest version of Sprite & no more problems.

Re: Backup programs

I have all three and used them extensively. They never failed me, however I prefer a 7 minutes(Resco) or so back up to a 20 minutes back up(sprite). I guess SPB falls in between. It is a matter of peference.
