VERY different forecasts depending on app?

I am using WeatherPanel on my Today screen but recently installed Mobile Shell 3 and the SPB Weather app for it. But the two are showing VERY different forecasts. For example, WeatherPanel shows today being 88/62, Saturday being 87/61, and Sunday being 88/60. But, SPB weather shows today being 81/54, Saturday being 81/58, and Sunday being 77/58. Those highs are VERY different. I expect to see som variation because of different sources, but 8-10 degree differences seem a little much. Anyone else running into this?

I can't get the SPB weather app to work properly with MS, so maybe that's the issue?

Re: VERY different forecasts depending on app?

That would depend on which service and weather person they use...

I just can't believe they would be so different. I mean, where I live the local weather people are usually pretty close to what The Weather Channel says. It's all within a couple of degrees. But, a 10 degree difference? That just seems a little much.

Re: VERY different forecasts depending on app?

I've noticed that also, I use weather panel & SPB weather also.

In my case anyway, weather panel is far more accurate (I love that program)

Yeah, but WeatherPanel doesn't incorporate itself into MS. Now, if you could remap the weather button in MS to WP...hmmm...I have an idea...

Unhappy Re: VERY different forecasts depending on app?

I have the same issues... Spb Weather is the most inaccurate weather I've used.... Sadly they don't see it being a problem at all. I've used all the templates and sites associated with Spb weather (Used the Weather.com template) And even that is not very accurate either. I live near an international Airport in which NOAA, Weather Channel & Weather.com all jive with my PDA when using Weather Panel or SBSH Pocket Weather. The only reason I use Spb Weather is, because it's in Mobile Shell taking up space... would luv to find a way to make a plugin for either WeatherPanel or PocketWeather.
