Calendar Updates

I am a very active user of my PPC calendar and Google Calendar. I live in California and I travel a lot. I will set appointments that I have in other states while I am at home in California. When I head to another time zone my clock changes and updates all the appointments on my calendar. The problem is, when I set the appointment it was for the right time, when I get to the new location, it updates my calendar and then shows the wrong time for the appointment.

EXAMPLE: I had an appointment in Virginia at 130pm. I put it on my calendar. When I got to Virginia, the calendar said my appointment was at 430pm.

How do I stop this from happening?

Are setting your appointments to your time in Ca. by accident ? Cause when it updates that would move your appointment time ahead 3 hours because of the time difference. I would double check my time settings.

Agreed - Check what you are doing. WM Calendar doesn't have any option to set an appoint per specific time zone. Anything you add in there will be considered in your current time zone, CA/PST in your case. So when you change time zones, everything will change.

You would have to change the time for the appointment when you create it to account for that time zone change.

Unless there is another calendar app out there that anyone knows of that can be used based on actual locations, I don't know of any.

Re: Calendar Updates

This doesn't seem like it would be that tough to fix. I can understand why it would be a pain to have to do math every time you enter an appointment. Maybe just an app that isolates the calendar from the clock in the phone. Pure speculation here, though. I'm not a programmer.
