Opera Browser Crashing

HTC Touch/Vogue...Alltel ROM with WM 6.1 and Opera Browser pre-loaded. Every time I go to the program, it shuts down automatically after a few seconds. I've tried loading mini, to no avail (is this a java issue)? Is there a registry issue that I can solve. I've loaded Opera 9.5 beta, which is slower than PIE, so I am not yet a fan. Any suggestions? (outside of a custom ROM b/c I like my phone the way it is right now).

Re: Opera Browser Crashing

You could try re installing the stock opera. It should be located in your windows directory. Its called WM6_PPC_HTCNaxos-2_opera865_3071.cab

Of course, there is no way that I am aware of to UNINSTALL it.

I think Opera is embedded with the ROM and cannot be uninstalled.
