Remote Desktop Mobile HELP!

Im still a newb with remote desktoping, as ive only did it on a friends pc just for kicks, but this has me stomped, i cant get it to work for some reason or another

Im using the wm6rdm, i get errors "the remote computer is not set up" and "reached max number of connections"

I've searched here and google to no avail, so now i ask can someone help me with a walk through or point me in the direction to the nearest one?

So far, all ive done is put in my ip username and password a dozen or so times, and yes, ive allowed remote acces via my computer properties, but i still get nothing off of my phones connection.

Thanks in advance

ps, im on the mogul

I'm using wpctsc and it flashes remote desktop in the title bar and then it goes away.. nothing happens.. wondering what I'm doing wrong..

Also, I have a question... is there any reason why you can't remote desktop into a machine using http://sitename/tsweb? when I get the page the connect button is greyed out.. What is the cause of this.. I want to be able to connect to my desktop from ANYWHERE.. not while I'm just within my network.

If your desktop PC is windows XP, you need to enable remote access by right clicking on My Computer and setting the option in there. I believe you also have to disable the GUI logon screen... you have to go into control panel , then users, then change the way users log on. You can't have the family friendly "GUI click on your name logon".

lol.. I know all of that.. that's not what I meant... I have remote desktop set up properly on my PC.. I can use say a laptop in order to do it.. I want to be able to use my phone. Does this browser(using opera 8.65) not support whatever technology is necessary? I believe it's direct x. I'm not sure though...

But rest assured the desktop PC is set up correctly.

Browser issue with RDP

I know that even on a full version of windows XP, unless you have the activeX control and you are using IE it will not work, I would try to use IE on the PPC and see what happens. that should solve your problem.
