I apologize for being a bother but can someone help me? The only setting that does not seem to work properly is the weather part of this. I live in Kissimmee, FL zip 34743 and I place it on the program on the custom bar and it always tells me that "Unable to retrieve data for selected city,Select here to retry".

dasantanaboy,
After installing the HTC Home Customizer, you should have a shortcut in the Programs menu.

deanwoof,
I probably abuse my Home Plugin more than all of you guys combined and I have not had one issue with the device (Mogul) locking up because of the plugin. Is it possible it's another program causing issues?

j_mee_5,
Usually when the appearances aren't applied, it means you had a previous version of the Home Plugin installed and it left the \HTCHome directory, which the customizer looks for first. I would uninstall the plugin completely, delete the \HTCHome directory if it exists, then reinstall and try to customize. Let me know if this works for you.

CMeys,
PM me with the process you used to install everything, and we'll go from there.

zaya,
Thanks for the bump

BlackDog,
No. (Sorry for the short answer, but there's not much else to say about that)

Blinkxxx,
After selecting "Custom" for the weather database in the customizer, did you soft reset? That usually gets it going. If not, please check N2A's post on XDA. There's a link in the first post to it.

Did I forget anyone?

Yes. The installer packages can be downloaded directly to the phone if you have a program to unzip them. As for the downloads through the program, yes also. The program comes up with a list of appearances that you can then download directly to the phone.

Will this work on the Helmi_C WM6 build for Apache? Do I need to download and install ver2 of the HTC Home plugin first?

docdoom,
You need to be logged into PPCGeeks to see the downloads.

Ruinit,
I have not personally tested on the WM6 ROM for Apache ( I only have one for WM5 testing of my prog) but I see no reason why it wouldn't work. As far as the plugin, you should be able to use the v2.0 plugin because your device is WM6. You can either manually install it or let the customizer download and install it if you don't already have the Home Plugin installed.

I installed this app yesterday, great work. My question is regarding battery life. My battery drained about 30% overnight while I had it "off" or "locked" whatever it's called when the screen is black. I don't have the weather options from HHC being used, but is it still checking for weather updates? I can't figure out why I would drain 30% when nothing was going on. Only things I have installed are LED killer, wow vibrate, and this app. Any help would be appreciated. And even though this isn't on the topic for this app, if someone does read this, is my mogul supposed to only tell me my battery life in 10% increments, I never get anything that isn't divisible by 10. Thanks.
