i am having a big issue with the htc home plugin. the text messaging count doesn't work well. about half of the time it works, the other half, it doesn't. i hard reset installed ONLY htc home plugin, tested, and still errors with the count. any ideas as to what can cause this or how i can resolve the issue?

I finally got the weather cities to show up and customized it to mine. All works great. :)

The files are there but the Customizer does not see them... Does anyone know why this is happening? I am using a Touch. Thanks.

I know I read this somewhere-- but what is the hack that will allow HTChome not to be locked at the top of the plugins-- I'd like to put something else higher than that...

Download the HHC mentioned in the post above yours it is V1.0b5 the hack your asking about is a defalt setting in Emunutz software. Makes things a lot easier with the home plug in. If you already have that it is under Options I believe.

I installed the WM6 files but its not appearing in my programs. Can anyone help so I can get it to appear in Programs? I do see the file on my phone right above the program file. Any help or suggestions would be great thanks!! I have a mogul

Hey guys, I "searched" this thread, and only saw one mention of having a Touch and issues with this, and it wasn't what my issues are.

I have the HTC Touch (Sprint) and I am having issues with this. When I choose more tabs (I want the quick dial) it won't add it. I have "4" selected, but only three show up. I gather it's because the quick dial isn't installed (I didn't get prompted to install the HTC Home Plugin, as it was already 'installed' factory).

Any way of getting the quick dialer back?

Since you are using the factory installed Home Plugin, it won't let you use the quick dial because it on the cube.
I am using Emunutz customizer .8b and it lets me use the quick dial as a tab.
I am not sure why you would want a tab since you already have it on the cube. But if you want it, install one of the customizers and Home Plugin floating around. Just make sure the Home Plugin you use has the new weather fix or the weather won't work.

Yeah i realize it wont' do it because of the Cube. Just don't like the cube very much, prefer the regular home screen.

I also am using the Customizer, but it lets me select the Quick dial, just never actually uses it.

Haven't found any links that specify they fix the weather, any tips on where I might find it?

So I just downloaded the Kaiser 2.0 version. It gives me the option for the Quick Dial List, but when I select it, it never shows up. I also tried the HHC 1.0b5 and same thing, shows the option, says it is selected, but nothing comes up.

Change TYPE from 5 to 4

By changing the type from 5 to 4 it will allow you to move an application within the Today screen. Some apps have the type set to 5 so that they stay on top of all the others and are not movable. This fixes that.

ok. someone save my phone from its high speed meeting with the wall. i'm running the no junk version of wm6 and when I load either file I get the home but no file to customize in the program menu. I know i'm a little slow but damn. lol

I aswell am running Robs clean and simple for Verizon. I hve two closks now and the customizer does not work. ????? I deleted kaiser home and my first version of HTC home was deleted. any help guys?

Awesome find!!!! I've been wanting to move my launcher icons above the HTC plugin. Now it's done!

I unlocked the HTC Home, then went into the today settings and moved my launcher plugin above HTC in the order. Then, went back and locked down both the launcher & HTC. Now, the only thing that scrolls is calendar+!

Issue with Custom Cities
 

I had to install N2A's fix in order to get my weather to update. I want to use Customizer to set 4-5 cities for my potential cities. Before, when I did that, only the cities that I entered showed up in the list when I tapped on the City name. Now when I tap on it I get all of the default cities and if I scroll down, I can find any other cities that I've entered using Customizers interface. Its a pain in the a** to have to scroll down all of the cities.

I checked the HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml file in \Windows and it shows the ones I've added via Customizer. So the question is: why is it giving me a combined list and if I can't fix that, is there any way for me to delete out the default cities I don't need?

random question from a rookie but when i followed the instruction everything worked out and i love the app but i now cant change the order of things on my today screen. i have mobile shell 1st and htc home second. im knit picking but i would like to reverse the order. either way the app is great!!!!!!! i dont know what i would do without this website.

i did read this whole thread a month ago and tried to follow it and use search but when i click on phone icon, it takes me to the Phone Settings/Options but only displays the "Services" and "More" tab, and not the "Phone" tab where I can change ringtone. i know i had this working in my last mogul and only difference i recall is i was using older mortscript customizer and not this newer one that really rocks. any ideas anyone?

I had the same issue. I liked the custom city database but the update by N2A is programmed differently.
N2A update has its own folder under MY DEVICE>HTCHOME. In that folder, there's the XML file with the default cities. You need to change THAT XML file and not the one in Windows or the one by the customizer under program files>htc home customizer. If you are familiar with editing xml files, edit it and paste it in the HTCHOME folder, soft reset and you're all set.

Compatability with robs clean and simple.
