what are the instructions on installing this. How do i exactly import this on my phone.

can someone give me instruction on how to do this. I am brand new to this and i dont know where to start. I like the whole backround with the clock and weather set up. I know i need to install something but i dont know where to start. How do i get these installs on my phone. please let me know

Does anyone know the name of the .exe file used by HTC Home Launcher for the screen rotation utility? I'd like to set it as a soft button.

What needs to be installed or done to get both both showing. In the screenshot above it will show the clock on top and the weather on the bottom. i like that idea..how do you do that. I have the clock looking good i just want the weather on the bottom taking up my screen. please let me know

I don't know if anyone has noticed but..wutz the point in having the weather tab on the htc home plugin if u have to manually update it. sometimes I would click on weather to know the forecast only to find out the last time it was updated was 4 hours ago, then I have to push it and wait for it to update..is there a registry fix for this???

The HTC Home Customizer v1.0 b5 has an option that can enabled/disabled to update the weather automatically. I have not tested it though because I remove the Weather tab and use Weatherpanel.

No there's no automatica update option in the new customizer..the only automatic download option is the one that came with the originally htc home plug in..i have it checked off but it doesnt automatically update on its own..it updates when u manually push on the weather icon..](*,)

As I said, I don't use it so I don't know if it works or if it simply turns on/off the one that came originally with the plugin.

Keep in mind, you need .NET CF 2.0 but I see you have a Mogul so you don't need it.

WOW..thanx pibe..i didnt even know that updated version was out..i just installed it, i guess ill see if it automatically updates the weather but if not, im glad i have this version, it's alot better

The newer versions that don't use mortscript look really nice. Been using the beta 5 for a while now with no issues.

needed to install this on my replacement mogul and yeah beta 5 is really an improvement imo.

Well I've been looking around and apparently I'm the only one that wants the clock only ... I really have no need for all the tabs and other functionality, I just want that sexy looking clock on my Today screen. Any chance at getting the clock without tabs, etc?

The weather still doesnt update on it's own??!!!

I think there is a thread on it somewhere, but do a search on google for rltoday. There is a digital clock only skin you can load that should accomplish what you want.

You can use the HTC Audio Manager or the built in Windows Media Player for the music tab. You must change the registry entry below to choose between the two.

HKLM\Software\HTC\Music Plug-In\
Change the "MusicPlayer" value to 1 for WMP or 2 for the HTC Audio Manager

I have installed HTC Home Customizer v1.0 BETA 5 and I love it but since installing I cant hear my ringtones the phone just vibrates. My profile is on normal but it rings really low. Has anyone else had this problem or can tell me how to fix this.

I need some help with my Home Plugin, and the solution might be found within the customizer(even though I've looked).

On the main clock, I have it set to the original. Right now, instead of displaying the time as 8:42 AM, it's showing it as 08:42 AM. What do I need to do to set the program to only display 8:42 AM instead of 08:42 AM?

I think that may be an option within your regional settings from the device itself, give that a try.

Yep, that was it. I had it set to hh:mm:ss and I just changed it to h:mm:ss and it works now.

I think someone asked this before but I didn't see a reply....is there any way to change the ring profiles tab? I'm using the 6 tab for wm5 and the "normal" will turn the sound on at the lowest possible setting which is not really normal for me. I'm not sure what the "automatic" is for either since I can't seem to alter it. I was hoping to use the home plugin and get rid of phone alarm but I like being able to change the sound & backlight profiles with only a couple of clicks.

HTC Home Plugin (WM5) 24 hr to12 hr Clock?
 

Has anyone figured out how to change the clock from 24 hour time format to 12 hour am/pm in the WM5 version (downloaded va HTC Home Customizer v 0.8b)?

My regional and time format settings are set for English (US) with time format of h:mm:ss, but the Home Plugin continues to show in a 24 hour format (H:mm:ss). I've searched the web for most of the weekend to discover similiar posts, but only one hint of an individual that was able to change his regional settings, perform a soft reset and then change it back to have the clock suddenly appear with the 12 hr format. I've attempted so many combinations, including uninstalls, reinstalls, but nothing seems to work. The date format is changing with the regional changes, but not the time. Searching the registry hasn't revealed anything either.

Anyone else figure this out or have a direction they could point me in? Would be much appreciated.

Further investigation shows that its not really ignoring my regional settings. It just doesn't want to play with either the h:mm:ss or hh:mm:ss formats. I can change it from H:mm:ss to HH:mm:ss and the changes is reflected. Can also change the date format and it appears correctly. Why can't I get h:mm:ss?

UPDATED:
Due to an "unscheduled" rebuild of my device, I now have the HTC Home plugin showing 12 hr time. Must have been a conflict caused by something I was running.

Anyone know of a black dialer skin compatible with WM5? Running the HTC Home plugin with the HTC Black Theme and would like the dialer to match. Thanks

I just installed the Home plugin, audio manager, HHC, and copied in the HHC add ons on my Mogul. The problem I am having is my today screen is not updating after any changes thru HHC or thru the today settings. I have to soft reset in order for my changes to take place. I've read thru this thread and haven't been able to sort this out. Am I missing something or did I do something wrong? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT: I think I may have traced it to another program I installed. I have restarted fresh and will reinstall everything one at a time to see if I can pinpoint my problem.

How do you change the Message Icon on the home screen of the HTC Home Plugin to link to my outlook inbox and not my MMS inbox. The one all the way to the left above the home icon in th image below.

so i have everything installed, and i have the data plan for tmobile and i have a tmobile (htc) wings (WM6)
the weather doesnt work for me, it says unable to retrive datat for selected city , select here to retry.
but the selected city is one of the listed cities not even a custom one.

my internet works, and the htc.accuweater.com website works too but not the plug-in

that and i want to figure out how to change the color of my "task bars" at the top and the bottom of the screen to a diff color

UITweaker is the best I've found so far to change the bars to whatever color you like Cozboogie posted it on the theme forum for All Black Theme.

The other option would be just using a theme.

I have read the forum from front to back. I have just hard-reset my phone, installed the home plug-ion for the Kaiser (I am pretty sure I used the right one) and have run the 105 customizer. When I tell it to save and apply, it hangs.

Other than this, I have a vanilla ATT tilt without the ATT customizations (TomTom Navigator is the only other app loaded)

Any help?
I have attached the hung screen.

Add another mail account in Pocket Outlook and set it to check for messages manually (it can even be a dummy account if you don't have another email account that you want to add). Once you do that, whatever account you last had open is the one that it will open to when you tap on the email icon. For some reason, having just the MMS account and your email account isn't good enough - you need to have a 3rd account in there for it to work properly. Let me know if you have any questions.

weather only works when connected through activesync not with gprs /edge ( i have tmobile) really want to get this working as this is the whole reason i put the htc home v2.0 on my tmobile wing in the first place

same thing happens to the mogul 6800 i use. im fresh off a hard reset as well. i installed it to SD card because all of the other versions have been there and i never had any issue. also, it will not download htc audio manager. reports that it cant download. i have an active data connection so thats not the issue. not a biggie but wanted to let you know.

ok, I downloaded the files, but it is not in the program files, I can't "open it", I can't change any settings, and I can't see any themes, even though I was before.....but...I see it on my today screen..with regular setting......please please please help me out

I used the 6 Tab Home Plugin for WM6 from the 1st page. Everything is working and it's great but I have one problem. In the favorite people area, if I have more than one phone number for a person/contact it does not lets me choose with number I want to load. It always load the same number even if I load the same contact to two boxes. How do I get it to let me choose which phone number?
