Re: The Official PPCGeeks Twitter Thread
Ok, here's an update review of Twikini. I've been using it exclusively for the last week or two and have been very happy with it. Even with all the new features added in the last couple of revs it still only has a 223K footprint (and the download is only about 100K!). It now supports direct messaging and all the other things you expect from a twitter client, like twitpics, url shortening, etc. The geocoding system used for translating a GPS location into an address is the only one I've ever seen that gets my home address right. I do find it has trouble initializing the GPS on my Touch Pro if it hasn't been used in a while, GPSToday comes in handy there, I just trigger a fix using GPSToday and Twikini uses that fix. All in all, I'm very happy with it, the interface is clean and the small footprint makes it an ideal client for lower memory devices like the Titan. Highly recommended.

Re: The Official PPCGeeks Twitter Thread
Now that's a loaded question if ever I've read one. The short answer is that it depends. Personally, I like Twikini, it's small, fast and functional. TinyTwitter is also nice, but has a considerably larger footprint than Twikini. A lot of people like PocketTwit, but there have been reports of stability issues. Not to mention just using the mobile web interface and SMS messages. Really, the best thing to do is to download them all and give them a shot and use the one that feels right to you.

I;ve been using Twikini for a week or two and I really like it. BTW: is any one else having a problem getting Twitter mobile alerts to work? It keeps saying to text the code to this number and I do that and t never works. |

Re: The Official PPCGeeks Twitter Thread
Twikini has become my default twit client... started off with pocketwit.. but it's been a no go for the last few builds... so i'm liking twikini.

Shaun, are you still on sprint? If so twitter is probably just messed up. The reason I ask, I read somewhere carriers like metro pcs and pocket wireless do not support short code text messages , like 40404 |
