Re: Windows Live for WM with Messenger released...

Thanks for the heads up. I use this and outlook connector for push email and contact sync between my desktop(outlook) and hotmail and my phone. Works well.

Re: Windows Live for WM with Messenger released...

I am amazed they did this after all the posts they made stating they were backing the carriers SMS/TxT messaging rates, etc.. not wanting to give you something free that the carrier can charge you for.

Re: Windows Live for WM with Messenger released...

I have downloaded the above caps but somehow I am still unable to communicate with the rest of the people on my messenger even though it says online. I send them a message and about 5 minutes later it will say retry. I'm on an area with good reception and I still can't send them messages. Could this be a registry setting. I also have reset the phone many times after install but no luck. Please help.

If you are installing this because of Messenger, then I recommend OctroTalk instead. it only costs $30 and aggregates many different services, not just Live Messenger.

Re: Windows Live for WM with Messenger released...

Ok I downloaded and installed this. The first thing it did was delete my Hotmail account off my phone. So I keep trying to set it up again and as soon as I enter my password and click search for settings, it takes me to m.Live.com. ANy ideas?

Can you at least revert to the older version?

I have the HTC Touch with Sprint. This program has always done that on my phone. I don't use it. I stick with e-mail arragement that comes pre-installed. Don't use Live Messenger anyways.
