I feel the time to take risks is right now before dumping Asurion. I'm usually not one to try custom ROMs, but I'm all for trying one while I've still got a replacement option with just a $50 deductible. And if the custom TF3D2 ROM works well, I'm all for keeping it on even after I dump Asurion.

Now assuming the TF3D2 custom ROM works great, Sprint users like myself need to know how we can get Sprint applications we use like Sprint Navigation and Sprint TV loaded after applying the custom TF3D2 ROM. And if the custom ROM does not have Update PRL and Update Profile we would need a way to add those too.

There's cabs for both those apps and instructions on this site for manually updating your PRL and profile.

Yea, I've been searching around and finding some of it. I'll probably put it all together in one comment here, just so they are easy for others to find. Maybe it can be included here in the CDMA custom ROM install instructions once there is a ROM available.

Found the best place someone can find the CAB files for SprintTV and Sprint Navigation is to pull them off their device BEFORE installing a custom ROM. Because the Cab files are on devices using the stock Sprint ROM. Just search for files that start with the name "Sprint" in the Windows directory and they are easy to find from that point.

So I've saved them off for myself.

And the cab for Update Profile and Update PRL is here.

flashing roms shouldn't be that risky unless you're doing something funky yourself.
