you'll probably have to delete a few obsolete files from your OEM, buildOS will tell you which ones

you can get them HERE!!!

have fun!

...and I think I may be releasing my own Diamond ROM in the near future... XBMOD manila of course, once I get a few more things down pat. Keep an eye out!!
I'm really considering releasing my own ROM too actually, I think I'll download a kitchen and play around maybe tonight. Thanks for the OEMs.

Haha cool. Maybe we'll be the next wave of cookers, as Juicy/JMZ, Calcu and Mighty focus mainly on the Pro.
Best of luck!

Re: TP2 Manila UP!

i think people should relax, im not sure what went down over at XDA but people should remember that we are a community helping each other out. making our phones better. i think people should relax and thank those that work had for these progams and updates.

i dont get people sometimes.

Same to you man, same to you.

My only restriction is I'm on a fail connection(CDMA 1X) -_-, so downloading the new SYSs and such is a pain, haha.

Eh it still holds up.... Slightly. I just reflashed and (for once) got working regular SMS so I'm sticking with that now and waiting for a regular fix for HTC's solution.

Re: New Beta Rhodium Manila Review/Bugs(All potential cookers and installers take a l

Alright boys and girls, got another important post for you guys...

FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T GET THEIR CONTACTS TAB WORKING:

Install the HD People Tab cab I've attached. No, it will not actually fix the contact card, but will allow you to use regular contacts in TF3D until working ROMs begin coming out.

WEATHER:

No, the Weather Database 1.1 editor will not work with Rhodium, nor will Conflipper's weather.

So how do you get your custom city back? Find "2330fc3c_manila" in your Windows folder or download the one I've attached and save it to your pc, and unzip it.

IMPORTANT: Right click the manila file and go to properties. Turn Read-only off.

Download "SQLLite" here.

Open SQLLite, and open the manila file 2330fc3c_manila(you will have to show All Files)

Expand the cities column, and click on ID and on the right, click Edit Data. If it does not show up, double click Cities again.

Either add a new row if you know what you're doing, else find a city very close to yours and edit the info accordingly.

Once done, close SQLLite, and turn read only back on.

Turn TF3D off.

Now use Total Commander or something similar(I use Resco) to copy the edited manila file into Windows.

Now soft reset.

IF WEATHER ISN'T UPDATING

Turn TF3D off.

Use your favorite file explorer and go to My Device > HTC > Application Data > HTC > Databases

Delete the file "forecast_cache.db".

Soft-reset your device and turn TF3D back on. Your weather will update now.

IF YOUR NOTIFICATION CAB IS NOT WORKING
:

Download the HTC Notification Sing Cab I've attached, it's signed and works well.
Attached Files
File Type: cab HDPeopleTab.cab (304.3 KB, 6 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: zip 2330fc3c_manila.zip (92.8 KB, 9 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: cab HTC Notification Sing.cab (1.67 MB, 12 views) Click for barcode!

Re: Touch Pro 2 port 3/22/2009!

Hi,

A couple of questions:
- If you install cab-by-cab, can it be uninstalled if problems, or do you need to hard reset?
- Does your phone need to be unlocked, or can the cabs be installed on a regular stock Sprint phone?

Thanks in advance. I've never wanted to get into Manila tweaks or cooked ROM's, but this upgrade may make me change my mind...I don't want to make the jump if I can't easily reverse it.

Random access within the tf3d is squished together.

Stocks tab is cutoff the screen.

6-7/10

It's not THAT bad, something nice to play with, but i don't think it's ready for primetime yet.

The new start menu is great but is taking me some time to get used to. Slows things down alittle.
So I guess if you bad mouth it enough, then that justifies you not having to work to put it in your ROM right? lol. Jeez, lay off. Also, if you were late to work because your phone is your alarm system then you need to come to the realization that there is no such thing as an all-in-one.

Like those all-in-one printers...they never do the scanning or the printing, or the faxing 100% great. It is all mediocre. So, get yourself a dedicated alarm clock. Phones are phones.
