Re: [12-3-09]Android CDMA TouchPro: TEXT and TALK(RAPH800) Ported!!!

OK, with a little perseverance and a little luck, and a great deal of processor cycles and help from the folks in #htc-linux, we have a build with

CDMA radio
CDMA data
WiFi

Still lacking: Microphone (so actually making calls is still out). USB connections. Speaker. Any semblance of support for DIAM500 and RAPH500 (Sorry -- there's little differences, and without using the devices I don't know what they are or where the problems are coming from). About 20 other things that aren't coming to mind right now.

Weirdness: It seems that touching the touchscreen while data is actively downloading causes the device to go to sleep. Who knows why. Also, every once in a while, it'll hang right at the end of haret loading linux, before switching to the boot log. Just reboot and try again.

Still mostly useless, but now way more fun.

Instructions: As before, grab the full package (easiest place to find it is on connect-utb.com), and replace zImage, rootfs.img, and the modules.tar.gz with the ones from this zip. Good luck.

Still not working for RAPH500.. Does anyone know how to log the boot process so I can post a log up so we can look into the errors?
