OK, another update. I've built a new kernel that's exactly the same as the gsm version except for 2 files, and it boots fine and has a working cdma radio -- unfortunately, still no cdma data, though, and no wifi.

It fails to boot with the rootfs included in the lastest connect-utb package, so there's a different one included here. Just copy over and replace.

Texting and phone calls seem to work, though phone call audio may be flaky. It's a start. Need to find someone with real programming skill now to help update the msm7500 code for the data channel.
