Check the download site, I believe the may be a RAPH500 specific one there as well.

At work, can't check right now.

Re: [6-21-09] Android for CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800 and Diamond) Ported!!!

I've tried it on my touch pro and without things like data, phone, text, and things of that nature. As of right now its a tease so i dont load it up much. My hopes are that with cdma hero (when it comes out), they will be able to get a fully working cdma touch pro port working and also get it working for the touch pro 2 honestly. by the time the hero comes out, i plan on having the touch pro2 and have the best of both worlds (bigger screen, better speakerphone, keyboard, and hopefully better battery life then the touch pro).

We will just have to sit and be patient it looks like.

You have a Sprint Touch Pro right? I do too, but I can't get past the android splash screen. It just sits there forever.

I suspect it is because of the default.txt file

Can you (or AnYoNe who has a Sprint Touch Pro and has android "working" on it) PLEASE post your default.txt file?

Oh yeah: Also note which android build you are using i.e. 20090316, 20090621, etc.

You are correct, change the default.txt file to the one required by your device. I had the same issue. As a previous poster stated, it is fun to see it working on our Touch Pro, but the fact that it doesn't work for anything meaningful just makes it a useless novelty.

Re: [6-21-09] Android for CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800 and Diamond) Ported!!!

Installed it.
It works.
Don't really need the Configurator app.
Just rename the text file you need to default.txt and run it with that.

And yeah, it's still beta at best, lots of things dont fully function as they should.
For example, I tried running the camera app and it went on and on about needing a storage card inserted first before it would work, despite having one in there already, and to make matters worse, there was no way to exit it and get rid of that message, so I was forced to reboot.

Still, interesting to play around with, but it remains a novelty for now.

Tried that... tried every one of them... multiple times... multiple hours...

Which rom are you using? stock? dcd 2.0.6? jd's latest beta? mighty rom 6?....
Can you post the default.txt file you are using?
Did you try the android release from June or from March?

Which ROM are you using? (stock, SsS, Energy ROM, jakdillard's, etc...)
Can you post the default.txt or the contents of it?
How did it take to load?
While you were waiting for it to load, did it ever appear to be stuck?
If so, was it during the linux character based/command line type screen with the black background and white letters? Or did it run through that pretty fast and wait at the android graphic splash screen?

I tried flashing the stock Sprint rom and then the June android, and then March android. It doesn't even get to the android splash screen any more, it just sits at a black background with white letters. The last line says "disabling 'flash_recovery'". Before that are multiple lines with "...cannot find '/system/bin..."

With jd's latest beta it will get past this and "freeze" at the android splash screen...

Why is this working for some people and not all people?
What is the determining factor to say whether it will work?
Do we not all have the same hardware?
Does the windows mobile build number make any difference?

This is driving me insane.

Re: [6-21-09] Android for CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800 and Diamond) Ported!!!

So the issue for me at least does not seem to be the android version or the default.txt file because I have tried the exact same files that work for someone else with a Sprint Touch Pro and it still wont load.

With JD's latest it "freezes" at the android splash screen
With the Sprint stock rom it "freezes" at the command line "disabling 'flash_recovery'"

So maybe it is somehow dependent on the ROM.

So hopefully my final question

Which Windows Mobile ROMs does android work with?
