The Hero Is reportedly available right now through sprint for $179 after rebate.. and will be available to Best Buy reward zone members this weekend.. Unfortunately it is not compatible with SERO...

I'm still trying to figure out my last good configuration when CDMA was working on it, my phone went haywire when i upgraded from ENERGY rom to STX 6. Reverted it back to Alltel stock, and back on STX 6. STX 6 ROM was the rom that it worked on.
I'm having some other issues like GPS and whatnot, but that's not relevant here. I'm on fall break in college so I'll try to work on it this weekend and give you guys an update. Hopefully we have have this working. Still want to port the Hero. Do you think we'll have it to where it's fully android, cause that would be awesome...I'd sh** bricks of joy.

Cant get it to run using the newest version.. Well I mean it runs but the phone will not come out of lock status... lol.. I have tried pressing every single button on the phone but it doesnt work..

Okay, so i finally got android back up. Only problem is that when it boots up and says click the android to get started, the calibration is jumbo f*kd. OH, and when i load haret, this mysterious small keyboard pops up out of nowhere in the top right hand corner of the screen. I don't know what i changed, but it's not cool. Deleting haret, zImage, and the data, and refreshing everything...maybe that will set it straight and i can actual get this darn thing loaded properly again. Will keep you posted.
Plus- it boots without having to have it on the carg--wait...hold on. running some tests. Last edited by thvoicwethin; 10-13-2009 at 01:19 PM.
