Hi guys,
I'm currently using ActiveSync, but the sync options on it are really bad. For example, I'm looking for this functionality: I take pictures, make a video on the HTC Diamond. I then connect it to the PC using a data cable, select the "ActiveSync" option on the phone and then it automatically syncs to the PC. I disconnect, and then say, go to My Docs/Phone Sync/Media/Pics to see all the pics from my Diamond, My Docs/Phone Sync/Media/Vids to see all vids, and My Docs/Phone Sync/Media/Audio to check out all the songs, etc. For this to work, I selected which folders I wanted synched to my PC to avoid all /Windows sounds files to get synched. Currently, Windows Media Player does it, but it's really weird the way it works and I'm taking way too long in trying to figure it out. It has so far synched pics upto the 3rd of March and not since, and says there's no vids on the Internal Storage (probably because the recording format of the vids is not compatible with WMP). I'd also like to put a few songs in a particular folder like /My Songs on the PC, and make it a sync folder so next time I connect the phone, everything in the /My Songs folder syncs to the /Internal Storage/My Documents/My Music on the HTC Touch Diamond. Does anyone know of a software like this? Thanks! PS: Ofcourse, I'd also like to use the exchange synching/ internet sharing features offered by ActiveSync.

Re: Sync software like ActiveSync but one that works.
Guys, you make a post @ 3:20 PM and are upset that no one's answered you by 7:30? This is a volunteer run operation, the great majority of us have jobs, lives, etc outside this site (though it may not seem like it at times) and we get to the questions when we can. I will say that looking at Dashwire (www.dashwire.com) may be what you want. Have some patience.

I use http://www.easy-sync.info/. It's not free but does pretty much exactly what you want. Lets you pick which folders on the phone to sync and let's you pick where on your computer you want to sync it to.

Does it do two way sync as well? Like if I put files in the computer sync folder, will it sync to the folder I want it to sync to on the Diamond? |

This sounds exactly like MyPhone from ms.
You could even sve the file and upload it from ANY computer with an internet connection. Plus it's free.
