Re: HUGE Keyboard compilation thread [Updated 3/3/09] (13 total): which one do you us

I use two:

Tengo (not Tengo Thumb). It has more dictionaries than Tengo Thumb, and support for my language (Norwegian). Link

Then I use Interkey Professional. Interkey supports the keyboard layout of my language, and the professional version has autocomplete. It has support for quite many international keyboard layouts and dictionaries. The latest version also has support for (small) fingers instead of stylus input. Link

I had thought about including this one as well, but it wasn't finger friendly. Maybe I should go back and add it? I was just thinking that non finger friendly keyboards are becoming a thing of the past.

Tengo is definately worth inclusion. It is a very quick method for writing. For me the normal version is the only option since Tengo Thumb doesn't support my language. I don't think using a stylus is a thing of the past.

And Interkey is one of very few keyboards that displays national keyboard layouts. I was surprised that you missed that one. The new version is finger friendly, but I still prefer to use a stylus.

You're right, I should have included them. Went back and added them to post #3. Send me a pm if you'd like me to add anything more to the description.

There is another one that I use. I carried it over from my palm T3 days. There is a learning curve but it is crazy fast once you get it.

I was really impressed with this keyboard. I quite like unusual, yet effective designs. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I added it to the top of post #3.

Re: [Updated 3/11/09] HUGE Keyboard compilation thread (now 16 total): which do you u

Any help is welcome......................

I have a verizo xv6900 with 6.1 and the spb 4.1.1 keyboard. The keyboard works great BUT .........I just uninstalled as it kept freezing on the boot screen when i did a soft reset.

VERY FRUSTRATING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

any recomendations on alternate keyboards or a fix to that one??

Since spb 4.1.1 is a paid app, you should report your problem over there. They'd be far more knowledgeable about the issue, and I'm sure they'd work with you to fix the problem.

As far as other recommendations, all of these are good. You should really try a couple of em out, see which one you like best. Personally, I use TouchPal.

You can put this in your signature if you'd rather. Click on USERCP, up at the top (2 to the right of FORUM). Then click on Edit Signature and post that in there. This way you won't have to keep posting it manually on all of your threads.
