Re: [3/16/09] Omniano- The Band Edition v1.0 (w/ piano, drums, and now flute)
its still not small, but its way smaller.. and i havent messed with BAND, but ive has this standalone omniano for a few weeks atleast i think, and works just fine..
maybe this one came from the guy that did the guitar one(assuming from an above post their not the same person).. so also to an above post there is a guitar one over on xda, just maybe not in the band edition.. |

Re: [3/16/09] Omniano- The Band Edition v1.0 (w/ piano, drums, and now flute)
This program is amazing. With 8, 16 or 32G storage cards, size should not be a problem.
This version has significantly improved sound on my TP and the piano lag is virtually gone. Speaking as a Wandering Minstrel, you could definitely use this on the street to perform for small change, and if the economy doesn't start recovering soon, we all may be doing that. Three geeks with TPs playing together could make a very cool band. The flute works if you disable the microphone (in Options) and just press the keys. Shoen will probably be fixing the mic part pretty soon. The guy, like rust, never sleeps. Actually blowing out the flute notes defies my imagination. The guitar app is from someone else, Iperov. And he seems to have taken it as far as he wants to. With the new skin on XDA, it's beautiful. But the strings are backwards. Shoen planned to include a guitar on the omniano originally. Maybe he will still add it on in a future version. I sent him a coffee donation already. That's how impressed with his work I am.

There is a known problem with the mic. Sheon just posted this:

My guess is that it's the mike (hole) on the bottom of the phone that you talk into when you're makiing calls. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Until we get a working flute fix, we may not know for sure.

yep. You guys need to send in the mic info with the exe he posted so he can recognize it in his program. On the omnia I'm sure it works fine, but on the touch pro, he has no way of telling where the mic source is.
