I replaced mine with the one posted in this thread and now I'm also getting the voice command error.
I had the recorder working on my pro before i updated the wavedev.dll file but the voice was too low. now i just want to go back.

Thanks
disregard my request for the original file.
I did a hard reset and intalled everything again
and i now have it working on my touch pro.
The audio of the other party is still low but its loud enough to fully understand what they are saying. So i'm happy now, but wished it could be a little louder.

BTW: Everytime I select Record Call from the bottom of the menu, the call continues but my screen freezes. No buttons work except for the power button. Only solution is a soft reset. There is a file created in My Documents\Recordings but it's 0 bytes. I'm running WM 6.5
OMG, Finally this problem has been solved! I cant believe it. Nice work on the all in one cab. Has anyone tested to confirm this all-in-one cab works?

So, I cant use stock rom, right? Any recommendations known to work well with this fix? What exactly is Slide 2 Answer anyway?

Nice work everyone who helped with this!

It looks like Resco is at least following progress and plans to get us a working Application soon. I suggest posting on the forum (no registration required) to show them how many people are interested in this feature. Having a standalone app working flawlessly is better than cab hacks and a random hodgepodge of custom fixes.

Hi,

If you want to have stored the name of the contact you can install this version
http://www.resco.net/forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=19755

But unfortunately there are different bugs present (e.g. on some devices the recording doesn't stop after ending a call)

The call recording doesn't work on the HTC devices for a long time. It has been discussed a lot, even here on the forum. But finally it seems there is a way how to fix it. After we will finish all running projects we will try to release a version that will record all calls on all devices.

Re: Perfect InCall Recorder 02/28/2009 Updated

So is this Perfect Incall Recorder.....Perfect?
Anyone got this to work perfect by being able to hear both conversations properly on playback, not hear the beep sounds, and save to internal storage?

it's at perfect as i think it's going to get. sometimes i get some distortion of the other person when i switch back and forth from loud speaker. other then that, it works great, even over my s9 bluetooth.

Anyone test this on WM 6.5? Does it do 2 sided recording?

This program isn't a necessity, but I so want it to work! I really think it's time to start looking at updated ROMs. If anyone has got this working on a Sprint TP Stock ROM, let us know!
I have it working on a Touch Pro SPRINT STOCK ROM.

First thanks to Slypher and all of you who have worked tirelessly since last year on this. I've been through the threads on XDA, and PPC Geeks 2 threads; the first by infection0 [Updated: CDMA / GSM HTC Diamond / Pro: Call Recording 3/25] and the current thread we are in).

That being said, here's what I did to accomplish it:

1. In January when I received my new phone I by chance upgraded the audio in Baffles thread [TP Essentials] using the Audiopara.csv loud that Badboy8813 posted in PPC Geeks thread [TWEAKED Audiopara.csv louder earpeice, spkphone, and BLUETOOTH WORKING!!!] (Post 1)

2. As suggested by many on this thread esp. Slypher, I downloaded and installed Juggalo X's White Slide to Answer (see post 117 on this thread to a link).

3. Then I downloaded and installed Slyphers cab in post 117 of this thread.
The wavedev.dll did kill my audio, did interfere with voice command
causing multiple errors, and my recordings were zero seconds in length.

4. I inspected the Sprint TP registry and found I was missing the two entries so I did do a registry edit as outlined in Post 134 by greatwhitepine. I did have to create the keys and dwords.

5. No luck with steps 1 to 4, so I decided to go back to the stock wavedev.dll by deleting the .dll that indagrove pointed out, and voila, ICR now works!

I now have what I believe is a fully functioning ICR. Complete with waves to either internal or a storage card without studdering, internal recording by mic, speaker and bluetooth.

If this works on multiple STOCK SPRINT Touch Pro's I'll ask that some one please cab this up.

Again, thank you all!

If I have helped you all please hit that green thanks button over here ==>>

Mark

WOW, good job. Now those with stock ROMs can get in on the ICR goodness.

Something that might interest you guys.

I've been messing with this for a while. Only thing I get is par, I'm still working on it, but it keeps breaking my sound, the wave cab does it also, but it's always.. Not all the time though, I'd have to uninstall to fix it..

Ugh.. I give up.

Re: Perfect InCall Recorder 02/28/2009 Updated

Pleeeeease....

Anybody got it working on a Diamond (GSM)???

I mean... really working (recording both sides of the conversation equally, without the need of speakerphone on).

If so, I would like to know which ROM, radio, and eventually how was it done (cabs installed, etc)

Re: Perfect InCall Recorder 02/28/2009 Updated

OK so after a lot of trial and error i finally got the program to install by loading everything separately.. 1. S2A, 2. Incall Rec. and it works but the volume is unrecognizably low on their side. I am currently running stock sprint ROM (Touch PRO), is there anything i can do to improve the sound? i was reading about the wavedll file but it appears it would knock out my voice as far as the listener goes.. is there any other solutions?
