Damn, running Sprint Stock here and these steps yielded nothing, not even a menu option. And now recording in the Voice Recorder also is failing.

Help anyone?

You need S2A preinstalled for Sprint stock rom.

Ah, I'd just been using S2U2 for caller id and locking. I'll check it out.

Edit: Installed S2A and still get nothing after playing around a bit. I can see and run the ICR app, but the option to trigger it in a call simply does not appear.

Make sure you install S2A before install the ICR. There's an option in the registry setting to turn it on if you install S2A after. The recording option only appear once the call in connected under the menu option. Good luck!

Can I install S2A, install this, then UNinstall S2A and sort of trick it into working?

Can someone who's got it working with S2A uninstall S2A and see if it works pweeease?

How were you able to replace this wavedev.dll? It won't let me rename, delete, or copy over it because it's a system file.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Rename it to wavdev.dll.bak first (i used Resco Explorer), then copy the one that groove recommended into your \Windows folder.

You can delete the wavdev.dll.bak or save it just in case something gets messed up.

Groove...you are the MFing MAN!!! (assuming you are a dude).

The other side of the call is now louder than i am WITHOUT using the speakerphone!!

Finally a working solution for the Touch Pro owners out there.

Wish i could thank your post multiple times!!
Thanks again, you ROCK!! :headbang:

EDIT: Tested using Resco Audio Recorder (which allows you to auto record all phone calls), same outcome. My voice is now LOWER than the other side. This means that my voice is clearly heard and the other side is even louder. Outstanding!!

Hmm, I was just about to post that it's not working on my stock rom Touch Pro.

I finally was able to replace the wavedev.dll using Resco Explorer but now when I restart my phone, I get an error message that Voice Command has encountered a problem. Also, it goes through the motions of recording creating a WAV file but only 0 sec long. With the original wavedev.dll, there was no problem recording except it would record my voice normal and incoming voice low.

What ROM are you using Slypher?

EDIT: Just realized that nobody can hear me when placing or recieving a call. I guess I'm reverting back to the original wavedev.dll for now.
