Re: Microsoft My Phone is up

Sounds like a good idea. But this also sounds like Microsoft LiveMesh. Not so sure I like the idea of uploading some of my pics and videos. I like LiveMesh because I can send date(pics, videos etc...) to my home computer. I also prefer to use SPB Backup to backup my contacts.

Re: Microsoft My Phone is up

I got mine and it appears to be working (both ways).

Maybe a stupid question but: Does this only sync mobile devices or can it also sync to a PC?

It would be great if I could connect my work PC to the "cloud" and get calendar appointments to show up there.

I have confirmed with Dashwire that it DOES support more than 10,000 texts. You can only view 10,000 at a time in the main screen. You can search for texts and as long as the results don't have more than 10,000 hits, then you are good to go.

I have nearly 20,000, I believe. Hard to tell nowadays.

The main difference that has me excited, is that it supposedly supports FULL synchronization of text messages. Dashwire only uploads them to the site, but will not put them back on your phone. I think that is one hell of a feature!
