Re: Software to merge text message files?
You could email them to your TP or just forward them from your Mogul to your TP if you still have a data connection on your Mogul.
late, Coz EDIT: Moved to the Software Forum.

Re: Software to merge text message files?
if you use PIM Backup you can still backup your Mogul texts and restore to your TP, just make sure you choose not to delete the current database and "add only new messages." The thing about this is that it can take a really long time for it to restore since PIM has to check against the current database. I've done it before however so its definitely possible. Just backup your texts again once the database has been merged so you don't have to deal with the excruciatingly slow restore process again.

Re: Software to merge text message files?
Hey guys,
I just used PIMbackup and i remembered why i didnt like it in the past. It restores your threaded WM6.1 texts out of order. Like when i go back and review my text messages, it shows all of their texts in a block and then all of mine. It's no longer threaded. Is there a way to fix this? In fact, i'd love to have a tool which allows me to view the text message db on my main PC and modify messages/sort/rearrange them. So far texts have been a huge black box. |

Uh, i think i only have about 1700 and it's been 24 hours...and they're still all jacked up. I even have a bunch of my sent texts that are missing. What gives?
I remember this happening last time, too. Did I just screw myself with PIMBackup? |

WM just sorted the texts funky, but the timestamps of your texts are still intact, which means if you do it the right way, it'll sort out correctly again. As I said, same thing happened to me, but after I did that it was back in threaded mode with correct sent/received conversations. Last edited by Darkjedi; 02-12-2009 at 01:23 AM. |
