[APP] Remote Touch

Hey guys.. i remember trying an early beta of this remote desktop software called Remote Touch... I liked it and wondered when the next update would be to fix all of the little issues it had.. Well, I just checked the author's page, and it looks like he is back at the project and just updated it recently. This is a great program that is meant for speed and it works very well.. try it yourself here: http://t2remotetouch.blogspot.com/

Re: [APP] Remote Touch

Great app, was wondering when to get updates,
I have a problem setting it up over 3G (out side the host PC's network) I can't seem to figure out the IP (external?) I read the How To on his page, no luck though... Any help? (more detailed walk-throughs?)
Thanks,

Re: [APP] Remote Touch

Well, what i did is run Remote Touch Server on your pc, and that will put it into the notification tray. From there, I right-clicked and went to "Setup" and left the port, picked a password and download directory. Then on the ppc, loaded remote touch and in the setup typed my computers ip (if your not sure, just go to http://whatismyip.com/ ) and make sure the port number matches the one that was in the server settings on your computer, and then type in the password. Hit connect and it should work, otherwise, something might be wrong. If you are connected through a router, you may have to enable port forwarding, but I don't know how that exactly works.. hope this helps!

so far I am loving this program. It runs faster and smoother than any other remote desktop program i have tried so far and it works great!

I have it working via WiFi, will this work over 3G or outside the PC's network?
Thanks.
