iGo8 ETA Not Accurate?

I've tried iGo 8.0 with the Q4 2008 TeleAtlas maps and iGo 8.3.2 with the Q2 2008 Navteq maps and box exhibit the same behavior.

I'm in the US (and I've tested this in Illinois and Missouri).

No matter what trip I do, whether its 30 minutes or 5 hours, iGo is always off on the ETA, and its bad enough that if I divide the miles in the trip by the speed limit, the ETA always seems to be based on a speed lower than the speed limit.

For example, from Elburn, IL to Cortland, IL, it'll give me a route which is pretty good, but as I drive the ETA constantly decreases. It might start off saying 30 minutes, then every 30-60 seconds it'll take a minute off of that and in the end the trip only takes about 20 minutes.

If I do a route from Illinois to Missouri, Garmin and other GPS software gives me a route which takes about 5 hours. iGo will give me a similar route, but the ETA will show 6 hours. Even if I customize the route to make it the same as Garmin, it'll show 6 hours while Garmin says it'll take 5. The ETA in iGo won't be accurate until I'm about 15 minutes from my destination in this example.

It doesn't matter whether its interstate/highway routes or country roads.
This is the only thing keeping me from using iGo, otherwise it is an excellent piece of software.

I've read a few other posts like this, but nobody seems to have a solution.

Any ideas?
