It's also a beta so you should expect bugs in it. I don't think people understand what beta means anymore.

True but after 3+months on waiting i expect little bugs but in my case it crashes every time i click history contacts and SMS

They at least could have tested it with 300 call history and 4000+ SMS to see if it crashes after a huge amount

Re: Resco Contact Manager - Public Beta Released

Any developer that sends out a beta that buggy, can't possibly expect people to dish out 10, 20, or 30 bucks for a program that can easily be replaced with a stable running free app like iContact. I understand the term beta, but just from what I read in here, it's got some serious issues....like it not making a phone call when you click on the appropriate button under a contact? Please!

Yeah but icontact doesnt come close to this program and to be honest i havent paid for a app yet but i would pay for this

Its nice and once it stabled IMO its going to be the best contact manager and SMS interface out there

But until then im uninstalling it after 3 months of waiting im just disappointed on the crashes when you have a lot of SMS and Call History

They aren't even charging for it, I'm sure they'll have alot of these bugs fixed before the final version comes out, Resco makes good products IMO so i'm sure this one, once it gets released will be good.

I agree. I stand by Resco software. I absolutely love their file explorer and registry editor. I'm sure this will be equally as solid.

Re: Resco Contact Manager - Public Beta Released

Loooks good and fairly easy to use, but since the latest release the keypad doesn't show correctly on the Omnia.
It flashes on screen then dissapears, so at present it is sometimes impossible to dial a number and can only use exisiting contacts.
