Even with small pics, some take 20 seconds, some take 6 hours. Also, It seems like I have to re-open sprint picmail for it to 'wakeup' and send or receive..... annoying.

I can't freaking get Sprint's picture mail to work at all unless I launch it from the camera app. Otherwise, it wants an email address.

sMMS for me. It's still being developed, a new release is pending and it still works better than anything I've used. I only use the Sprint app when I need to send video and that's close to never.

I have the same issue. I've given up on sending with it and use smms to send and the Sprint app automatically receives, which is fine. I've noticed a much higher success rate in sending with the Sprint app when the pictures are smaller than 3MP.

i use the sprint app and changed my resolution to 640X480 and i still cant get it to send to other sprint people. sometimes i send out a picture and forget about it and the like 6 days later someone sends me a picture and thats when the one i send out actually gets sent. its very fustrating i updated it right out the box and i have no idea wtf is goin on

+1 for smms. I love this app. I also had problems with sprint pic mail on my touch diamond. No one ever got any of the pics i sent!!! i never got any sent to me, but miraculously they where all on the (very plain and not user friendly) sprint pic mail site. It was a headache. With smms i have had no issues at all. I get all pics and all mine are sent out. I would highly recommend smms. I bought the full package but even with the free version it was WAY better than sprint pic mail.

I use sMMS and SprintPM together. I like the added features of SPM but I also like the added features of sMMS, such as being able to see what I've sent and whats in my Inbox. I would't like to have to pick one over the other.

If you want people to vote you could put up a poll, just a thought.

I use sMMS and SprintPictureMail, they both got something usefull.
