Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

I was using this Shell but noticed that my favorit MP3 player- Pocket Player's AVRCP commands when using a bluetooth stereo headset no longer works. It launches the old WM player instead.

Does anyone have a solution to this? It's the biggest thing preventying me from making the switch since Conduit's successful work around of the TF3D's AVRCP annoying habit of trapping BT commands.

Otherwise, this mobile shell is great.

Landscape / Portrait switching is ALOT faster. It's certainly not instant but it's definitely tolerable now.

I have the latest version of the plugin and I have intecept wmp commands and all the workarounds for mobile shell & HTC checked but WMP unchecked and it works perfect for me. With workarounds unchecked it was not working and it would default to WMP

I am switching pretty fast from portrait to landscape with the new beta:)

Wow, that switch (portrait <> landscape) is extremely fast (My definition of extremely may be wrong considering how slow it was before, hehehe)...

So... In the professional Layout... The only way to show temperature, is through the SPB setting and never the current one, just high and low, right?

thanks for the reply- can you clarify since I don't have Shell installed anymore.
Were the intercept commands in a Mobile shell menu?

I'll check it when I get home...

Hopefully I can get it to work too.

I installed the update beta and noticed that the pro widgets were gone so I installed them again and restarted. When I try to use a pro widget, nothing shows up. Anyone else have this issue after updating?

Has anyone found a good weather alternative for this yet? SPB Weather didn't work very well in my experience, and the builtin weather sucks..

EDIT: Nvm, I found this which seems to work pretty well. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=67379

Found it-

Go to http://www.conduits.com/community/fo...?TID=1400&PN=1

And check out the post on how to install the needed plugin and the problems HTC is causing.

This fix/plugin only works for Pocket Player since they are the only ones to have found a work around for HTC's stupid decision to make AVRCP work only with WMP... I wonder if Bill Gates had to bride them for this....
