just installed it but im not sure how to use it. how do you see where the phone is?

In the settings, click on "reply to sender"

Send yourself a text message and you should get a reply with your current coordinates that you can put into GoogleMaps.

tried it but it didnt do anything when I sent the code to the phone.

here's a small tip... before u use this app...just try connecting to internet using ur phone...just anything. Point is...if u have something like sero plan etc (on sprint)... just get that connection established..then send the code and see. Anything..like weather etc.

Tried that ill write a code some one text it to me and see if you get anything. when I tried it before the text never even went through to my phone. well the phone caller ID told me who was texting me but there was no text when I checked.

I installed this on my daughter's Touch, works great (although she does NOT have internet access).

I also installed this on my Touch Pro and had to take it off. I could literally see my battery being drained. Went from 100% to 75% in less than an hour. After 2 hours it was at 19%. (Yes, it was set up properly). Any ideas?

Hmm, mine showed the message received but would get hung up at acquiring location. Yours doesn't seem to be getting the text.

How are you sending the message, and when you send the message do you get the windows loading circle in the middle of your screen for a few seconds?

Make sure these are your settings and try sending the code by aim.

-Main view
Make sure in settings "enable tracking" is checked

Also check "sms" and "reply to sender"

-Settings View
Make sure background mode is checked



Now send an aim to your phone (if you use aim) with the sms code as the text (default is getgpspos)

You will have to accept the message by replying to the aim the first time but after that it should send the message in the background fine.
