Omniano - best pocket piano app for WM [QVGA][VGA][WQVGA][WVGA] released 1/29/09
Just as the subject says, best free piano app for windows mobile. Didn't see this posted after searching for "omniano" or "pocket piano," so perhaps nobody knows about it. It's been buried in xda since it's been released a couple days ago. Thought i'd share the info just in case anybody's interested... Tested and works great on the touch pro. BTW this one actually has drag and play unlike the other two that surfaced over the past couple years...

I'm a sometimes professional piano player and I've been looking for something like this for years. Everything I've tried so far is either too dumb, too recording studioish, or too klunky. This is GREAT! And from the XDA posts, it's clear that Sheon the developer is just going to keep it getting better and better. The only needs-to-be-fixed thing I've noticed: there is a tiny lag from when you press the keys and when you hear the notes. I mean really tiny. Nothing to write home about, maybe something you won't even notice. And it may be a TP screen issue. I'm sure Sheon is working on it right now. Expect frequent updates.

I'm on the Vogue and I get the same delay. Not a deal breaker by any means...just have to account for it. I like the simple approach...a nice little app to mess around on.

Works great on the diamond. No lagg. The only thing is that It only plays one key at a time. (you cant hit two keys at the same time)

yeah, can't really help that though cause winmo phones don't have multitouch... the good thing is that the developer incorporated drag and play, which was missing on all other piano apps i've seen on xda. The other ones would also stop playing as soon as another key was pressed, so it really sounded fake. Can't wait to see if he's able to cut the lag down, although it's not as bad as i expected...
