Gee, I wonder which one looks better.... You monkeys that think the sling looks better are smokin something - might wanna go to the doctor and have yourselves checked out. Enough said

Re: Best way to watch tv

Has anyone used revolutv? I just read about it and download it to my pc, has some pretty cool channels and it's free. They only have a version for the pc though. It would be cool to be able to get the streaming sites address and add them to your mp. From what I read they used to stream all the channels through windows media player before they went up to the new software they're using. It stinks not having tv, I got no basic channels, no cable, no dish. Only hulu and a couple of other websites. And now revolutv which I'm still trying (got hooked on the music tv channels).

I also emailed them asking if they have any plans of doing a version for ppc.

That does look better! So I assume it doesn't support full screen yet? And how is the video performance?

Thinking about getting that to replace my Solo if it does way better job...

I don't remember anybody claiming that Sling looked better.

It's by no means perfect but the pq is pretty good enough to watch something. The lanscape mode goes full screen but doesn't work correctly at least yet. Myself and a few other have posted on the support forums but I guess this has been going on for a while. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Well if anyone is thinking the sling is better, I don't see how you could. Unless you don't factor in pq at all.

how long has Landscape mode not worked? Thats still the killer for me. That and the negative hardware and customer service reviews.

If you had actually read any of my posts, you would see that my complaints about the HAVA I owned had absolutely nothing to do with the PQ. The thing about PQ is aso different if you're talking about watching it on your phone or watching it on a PC. I never saw any huge difference in the PQ on a phone & that's all I care about, although both the HAVA & the SB worked in my laptop I have never once actually watched it there.

If the HAVA was even close to the hardware quality of the SB & didn't break down all the time I would still own it. The lousy quality control combined with the worlds worst customer service is what did me in however.

Don't think it has ever worked for the touch pro. So whenever it came out. I do agree hava support is not the best. I haven't had any trouble with my hava except for the landscape mode which hopefully will be fixed soon.
