You'll get a lot more respect by coughing up some proof instead of attacking people who challenge your statements. My credentials are totally unrelated to your ability to prove yourself. If you can prove it, you'll save a lot of people some agony. If you can't or are unwilling to, you shoulnd't have made such an outlandish statement.

Love the setup of the CPL file - nicely done just curious though, did you solve and map the notifications to all be above the lock itself?

Reason Im asking is as I was doing something similar as this, when I test it out by sending a call to my phone but not answering it, leave myself a VM, send myself a text and an email I would always have 2 icons above the lock, 1 just under and half cut-off and 1 well below the view under the 3rd one (see screenshot of issue below)

Appreciate the work on it though looks great

enough of the child play. no need to argue about everyone reputation. there is no need for this. all this will lead to is people getting pissed off. and leave ppcgeeks. i know that anyrl and AndrewSH, and Cracing. have all been coming here from xda. this is what the community needs, is developers from all types of devices, and languages with a common goal in mind. to better the 6.5 development. 6.5 is microsoft next generation os, it is brand new. it needs a LOT of work. that work needs to be shared with has many developers has we can.so please lets stop all this child playm. drop it and lets get back to making 6.5 better then ever.

It seems to be putting the last loaded image in the box. It was the comm manager smeared in there the last time I had an incoming call.

I think you need NetCF3.5 that would solve the problem.

Do you solved camera problem in Kaiser with wm 6.5? I'm stuck on this issue since early 211xx realses (now I use 21501). What I have: When camera works fine, Opera don't. When Opera works ok, camera don't. I've tried different OEMs, changing ddi.dll but still have the same (camera or opera).. Any solutions?

u can try my oem at xda - i removed all possible trash added back configure device and all ok for few builds than again not working but after adding htc enhanced menu all working fine .
The old DDI has missing disptools dependency so 3d drivers opera igo ... wont work .

Dear vin255764, could this be adapted for 320x320 resolution? What tools do I need to modify it? Also does it include video call?

Will try. Can you upload somewhere "htc enhanced menu"? I can't find it separately..

//edit:
Did you mean "HTC Rhodium Menu Enhancement" or sth else? When I use your OEM, HTC Rhodium Menu Enhancement Opera works fine, Camera freezes during save..

I try installing it but it tells me its already on there. Thanks tho for the suggestion. For a better background I installed the iphone dialer 2.0 for vga to see how it does and the ring delay is minimal, buttons all work nicely, it just gives you this for the incoming call notification when the phone is unlocked.

Goodbye manila, goodbye... :silent:

Yes, same thing in htc wizard also. CHOME = 23~24 MB and Manila 2d = 18~20 MB. And in winmo 6.1 builds the usage of m2d is also same.

But I don't wanna say goodbye to m2d since I love it and I don't care about its memory usage. :)

Thanks and regards

ah, :(

If I cook winmo 6.5 ( without chome, widgets, image made themes and etc ) I get the same memory usage as winmo 6.1 build. May be light difference about 500 to 1000 kb and I think its because of startmenu but almost takes similar memory ( If its m2d or chome ROM ).

However it depends upon oems and packages used. As I use PhoneCanvas, volume control and etc, so the memory will be around 20 mb free in m2d and 23 mb free in chome.

Yes 20+ mb with phonecanvas and m2d. Check out my thread : here

Yes I removed all the themes related images files in sys and used the empex diamond as default and the winmo 6.5 looks same as winmo 6.1. :)

this will overwrite files/ modules, anything with same filename

Finally got around to incorporating this in to some of my custom made OEM's. It works for files, but not modules. I wanted to replace some base dll's with some pre-modified ones. But during the build, I get these:

WARNING: outres.96.dll ignored in deference to module already in ROM

So I figured, no biggie, I'll turn the dll's into modules! That'll teach it!

....nope....then I just get this:

USER_OEM\zzzzzOptional_Personal - Error copying module (The file 'C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\hIq Inc\PPC-BuildOS\9.05.3.0Temp\temp\dump\outres.96.dll\image info.bin' already exists.)

I can continue to build but am unclear as to what ramifications this will have if the imageinfo.bin from a different dll is used for relocating. Can you enlighten me as to what I am doing wrong?

hmm, that's the error you get if the patch is not working properly, like if it was just a normal oem with no patch.. look at the taskbar icon oem's, they are a good example of a patchoem setup

Indeed, you are correct. Here is what I have in my option.xml for the OEM I am using to do this and some other things:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<Items>
<Item name="Additional ROM tweaks for me" group="Tweaks" checked="True">
<Tip>Includes SDK certs, my home certificate and Taskbar icons.</Tip>

<OEMDate>4/19/2009</OEMDate>
</Item>

Did I do something wrong here, like wrong location?

Ok, wrong location. Aafter moving the PatchOEM's to the last in line above Item, it worked. That wass the only difference between my options.xml and your taskbar one in the Geeks OEM rar.

New builds always makes an upgrade worthy... :D
If it's a new build, then (most of the times) there is updates to it's apps, then it must worth something more.
And cooking is just a thing that we must and need to do. THEN, come new builds. Come to dady... :D

Yup. That's all I did. I cut to the two PatchOEM lines in the xml and pasted 'em lower. Then *BOOM!*, it worked....like a shammie, like a towel, like a sponge. What you see is virtually a copy paste. (I removed some personally identifiable info after pasting here on the forum.)

Aaronpower, not as though it is any of my business, but you have 82 posts to your credit in which I believe you must have asked questions and gotten some answers, and in all of these helps you have not touch the green button in appreciation of the people who gave you answers?

I have learnt that two things hard for human to say, but noble if they say it, are "I am sorry" and "Thank You"

So if this hurts you, I am sorry, it wasn't intended, thank you.

Yeah that works, however you can have your capital letters without a need to cook and reflash, and particularly for those running prebuilt roms. It's easy:
Use Total Commander, go to your windows folder, scroll till you get to Titanium, use Total commander edit function to open the cpr file for edit.
Look for the items that show up in our today screen, they come as "Expanded" and "Condensed". The condensed is your focus here.

So let's take "favorites" for our example:_ scroll to FavoritesCondensed,
4th line there reads like this:

<Text ID="PluginLabel" Left="10" Top="4" Width="300" Height="34"> FontFamily="Tahoma" FontSize="18" FontStyle="Regular" Wrap="False" VerticalAlignment="Top" Trimming="EllipsisCharacter" InnerTextType="Resource" Text="chomeres.dll,1025">

Okay so the [InnerTextType="Resource"] has to be deleted, then edit Text as Text="Favorites" but hey, that gives you the internet explorer so you can as well write Internet there. So your edited line look like this:

<Text ID="PluginLabel" Left="10" Top="4" Width="300" Height="34"> FontFamily="Tahoma" FontSize="18" FontStyle="Regular" Wrap="False" VerticalAlignment="Top" Trimming="EllipsisCharacter" Text="InternetExplorer">

So you do likewise with the remaining items and you can give them whatever name you want.

If you are going to use this info then pls hit the Thanks button hard. I dont know why but it makes me do more.

UPDATE TO ABOVE
Okay I see that people are using the resource above, it is not that tedious and you could back it up in your storage card, so every time you flash, you dont do this again you just overwrite the cpr by copying the one backed up to storagecard to the windows folder.

Secondly you could choose to have your text in different colors, decide what color items take on today screen [Condensed] and what color they take when they are highlighted in the titanium box [Expanded]

Like under "Time" for instance you have this default settings:
<TextStage TextOffsetType="TextOffsetNone" Color="#FFFFFFFF"/> so this shows the colors are of html base: so edit the color to what you want.
#FFFFFFFF = WHITE
#00000000 = BLACK
#FF0000FF = RED
#000FF000 = GREEN
#FFF00FFF = PURPLE
#FFFF0000 = DEEP-BLUE
#0000FFFF = YELLOW
#00FFFF00 = SKY-BLUE etc, etc.
Kindly touch the green button if you find this info useful. More to come.....
