Meh....looks like 21847 is a wreck. I can't post these files. The CHome/Today screen doesn't work and the Start Menu is trashed.:angry7:

Bummer. I was hoping to play around with another build today. Thanks for trying.

Jeff

Yup, sorry. If someone knows what the fix is for it, by all means, do tell. But I couldn't find any myself. I swapped out the shell32.exe and one of the dll's from 21844, that got the start menu working, but it didn't have the kinetic movement, it just stopped as soon as you lifted your finger.

On an unrelated note, I can't wait till these COM3 changes make it to COM4. Unlike some peeps here, I am totally diggin the new look. Yeah some apps are broken now, but I think overall it's better for finger friendlyness. The only time I pull my stylus out now is when I'm playing a game that requires it. BOUT TIME!:protest:

But, I think I'll look at 23405 just the same, maybe put some PPCK files out for that :)

That was the wrong link in that post. Whoops! I just fixed it. :)

As far as the XIP's go, you don't need to port ANYTHING. The XIPs I created and attached to the PPCKitchen files post are all ready to go, including the Herman XIP, which is what you need. :)

So where did you post it? Where is the link?

NEVER MIND, I found them on the same links! Whoops!!! :D

2 Attachment(s)
PPCKitchen files for 23405. The DPI's are kind of a mash up of 23403 and 23405. Thanks to mattsm, the 96DPI should be good to go too. (big thumbs up to mattsm!) All the regular crap applies here.

The PPCKitchen 23405 XIPs rar file contains the XIPs for the Apache, Herman, Kasier, Titan, Victor and Vogue. All XIPs are spinlock patched except for the Apache. The Herman and Titan are the only ones tested but they all look good.

Warning! If these files are used in any other kitchen other than PPCKitchen, please be sure that you fix the file attributes BEFORE or DURING cooking, otherwise problems will ensue (see FIX here). I have attached the removed packages as well if you do use these in another kitchen.

Can't find where the SYS came from, but thank you!:headbang:

COM4 23405 GUI changes have not been updated to the COM3 changes yet. As far as I can tell, the only change is that MS fixed the "Start Menu" taskbar corruption from 23403

As far as that link goes, no clue, but it looks interesting and I will look over more tomorrow when I am a little bit more sober.:drunken:

Where are you stuck?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

So 23403 is no good? Or it has a fix? I will use 23405...

What about the other one, 23037? Any major improvement? I need to read up on these, which one do you recommend for QVGA and which one for VGA? I have Apache, Mogul, Vogue, Diamond and Pro phones I usually upgrade.

Thanks!!

joojoobee666, there are a few items on kitchen that say FROM SYS, like Enterprise & MS Tag Reader, what are they? Live Search (I know this one)
