How did you go about adding the xip to the core?
If you un-rar, add then re-rar, it might give you problems.
You should open with WinRAR. Drag n drop the xip, select OK, then close.
Double check BuildBases txt file.
Make sure that there is a single final lime at the bottom of the file.

EDIT:
Do you remember if you changed the pagepool. Or does the TP have that abillity/handicap.

Just tried to start the kitchen.
So I disconnected the I-Net started the kitchen, then re-connected.
I will try to build a TP ROM, but I don't have a unit to test with. (yet, maybe).
I was thinking of the doing the $99.99 upgrade (with 2yr renewal).
But I might hold out for the TP2.

Yeah, I figured out I didn't have the XIP file in the RAPHAEL_CORE.RAR but where do I get this raphael_23037.enc.bin file from?

I will look around also.
I think it will be called "Raphael_23037_xip.bin"

Attached is the Rafael XIP. I have not tested this and never done one before, but it looks like everything is in order so give it a go. FYI, this is for the GSM Touch Pro!

As far as doing them yourself, you can use XIPKitchen by lennsh ->http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=443383. You will need a xip.bin for your device and a xip.bin from the build your looking to port to, but that's the short and skinny. If you don't have a source build xip.bin, things get a little hairier:disgust:

Thanks, you're the best!!!

Will try the XIP and if you can, please send me XIP for 21844 and 23403 for Raphael and I will play with them and use the XIPkitchen to conver to Apache, Mogul and Touch.

I notice that you username info says you have a Touch Pro from Sprint. If that's what your getting ready to cook for do NOT use the Rafael XIP, use the Herman XIP. The Rafael XIP is for the GSM version of the Touch Pro. Sprint is CDMA. As far as porting, you can use the XIPs I posted with the builds as the build source and use the Rafael I sent ya (barring that you do have a GSM and the XIP works) as the device source.

Yes, it's a CDMA, not GSM. So I can port the GSM to CDMA, correct? And I can port to Apache, Mogul and Touch also? If that's the case all I need is the other 2 XIP's (21844 and 23403) so I can experiment with these. I did noticed the 21844 had some 21840 files, do I need to rename these 21840 to 21844?

Thanks!

Meh....looks like 21847 is a wreck. I can't post these files. The CHome/Today screen doesn't work and the Start Menu is trashed.:angry7:

That was the wrong link in that post. Whoops! I just fixed it. :)

As far as the XIP's go, you don't need to port ANYTHING. The XIPs I created and attached to the PPCKitchen files post are all ready to go, including the Herman XIP, which is what you need. :)
