Yup, I got it working. The error I was getting was due to my own stupidity. I was not refreshing PPCK after changing DSMs around. I'm flashing my phone right now, just got everything in order in the kitchen, I think...

I know this has been answered before, but I can't find it :$. I'm trying to remove IE and use opera instead. I thought I just needed to remove the browsing and browsingie folders (all 6). When I did that the rom wouldn't boot, so I'm obviously wrong. Anyone willing to tell me how?

Edit: If someone could at least let me know how to get links to quit trying to open ie and use opera instead that would be awesome.

Ok, so I got my 21210 SYS based from Anryl's (thx to Anryl for SYS and Dan for the XIP's) up and running. Can't see anything different right off the bat, anyone know if there IS a difference from 21202/21500?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Remember, we are getting nearer to release, you should absolutely not be seeing any differences, other than memory leaks being fixed, speed improvements, new bugs sneaking in, :)

Hmm, I did something wrong. What Titan XIP do you use for the base Device XIP? I used the original 931 from no2Chem and got some weird results. I used a Victor XIP from 21202 as the donor for a test, and once it completed I dumped the 21202 it created for me with XIPPort. I then dumped the 21202 you made and it sure doesn't look the same. Also, it didn't carry over the modified nk.exe from the original. Did I screw up or are you manually doing the titan, replacing the nk.exe from the 931?

I have 21210 for 4 days already on my phone. For me it does not matter if someone marks the build as "fake" - I have my own oppinion. :)
Problems on my phone model for now - fast battery drain (13 % in idle during night against 0 to 2 % usual) and it's slower than 21500 for me.
That's why I wanna try all the possibilities and combinations.... XIP 21210 looks good. I just want to have the debugging code removed....

21501, Conflipper? That means those apparent fakes (21500, 21510) had the right idea, as far as the numbering scheme was concerned? ;)

Or is 21501 a fake of an official release, e.g. 21300? :)

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

is this new build "real" or "fake" in other words is it a hex edit of any other build? also what do you mean by official?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

This is official ROM. This is RC 6.5,

21500 was a real SYS, just not a real core and everything. this one has the actual core. so i will post that. the SYS is kinda a disaster right now. I am getting everything in place right now.

the orginal is in QVGA and CHS at this time. but I will get everything working for VGA and QVGA.

yeah, titan is kind of a mess.. to port titan, use nuekernal as a base, then hex edit the first section back in after it's built xipport writes a bunch of zeros to the first 1000 bytes or something like that

Here is The SYS Common.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/aklmnn...501_Common.rar

It will the basic file needed to make a barebone SYS. these are the core files that will add all the added functions. the rest of the OEM were from 21500, so you can use those.

Also I used the 21202 DPI files. since that was WWE. Until we get a solid 21500 WWE, I would stick with those.

Enjoy the files though.

VGA DPI Files

QVGA DPI Files.

So what stuff are you made of Con? Just my way of saying you are awesome. Okay, while you are at work with the SYS, could you be generous not to customise and lace it with attributes for ppc kitchen? Some of us don't use ppck..........yet.
I ran into difficulties more than once trying to use such a SYS, reversing the attributes didn't help. So pls help expand the base.
We may be a minority on this, but I believe we count.
