nice, but i would still like to remove the text if possible. i changed the blankbanner.192 and it is obscured by the text and i would like to have it be more visible. i will scour around welcome.exe

Here's a 23024 XIP for porting, I haven't seen one yet.

PPCKitchen files for 23024 are in testing.

I keep having this funny issue where the back-light goes off but the phone never turns of (set to turn off after a minute). I cant tell if its because I set it to not turn off when plugged in so it will stay on when in the cradle in my car. In general I turn it off when I put in down or holster it, but it ends up using much more battery life before I notice its on. I though something wakes it but when I just sit there and watch the back-light goes off after 30 seconds and after a minute it is still on. Anyone seen this?

Use it as a base to play with Emulator 23022. Or insert your self attached xip to the rom image offset 0x00030000.

Thanks!
So I got it up and running.
I can use the tools to unpack the ROM, then repack it and it works!
But if I add anything it does not:angry7:, this is where I'm struggling...](*,)
The .bin file never changes size...
What do I have to do to get it to work from there?

Is there a way to use PPC Kitchen to build it for me?

Thanks!

PPCKitchen files for 23024. Would have had them up sooner, but the Titan and Vogue XIP wanted to be a pain in the arse, I had to do some manual work on them both.

Anyhow, a couple of other changes here to note. FWUPDATE has been replaced with a Dummy FWUPDATE. The MediaOS folder has been recmodded as well as a couple of other items to reduce the crunch on Slot 0. MSTag Reader has been recmodded as well and is an option under system. FYI, this build is not a whole lot different from 23022, so be prepared...

Also, the 96DPI are the 23022 files with the 23024 0409 lang files since I don't have a converter and have not seen any converted/posted so let me know.

The XIPs, ahh yes. After playing around with the stupid XIPs all day, I had an epiphany; why not make sure the 23024 XIP wasn't just a hexed 23022? Of course, it was. So, I made a new PPCKitchen XIP for ALL the devices that is simply a "hexed" 23022. There is no actual 23024 source. All the XIPs (Apache, Herman, Kaiser, Titan, Victor and Vogue) have all been spinlock patched as well. If for whatever reason they don't work, use the 23022 as the only difference is a few bytes in the 723 dsm ;)

O yeah, one more note. The settings\personal control panel icons fix has been integrated into the kitchen (i.e. the default.hv has been edited, along with the shell rgu file) so the icons show up.

The Herman XIP as been tested, the Apache, Kaiser, Titan, Victor and Vogue all look good. One other note on the XIPs, they are now ALL spinlick patched :D

The 96DPI takes me to a link for the 23022 files. Is that correct?

Thanks for the amazing work!
