+1!! Why don't we have a 6.5 kernel yet? I know da_g does on the fuze... what was the reason we haven't gotten one on cdma devices?

And while I really, really appreciated that =D>. I want to be able to do it myself. I already used Adrynalynes kitchen and created a 23016 rom with my custom tweaks. Now I would like to take it on step further.

I just not sure about the all the terminolgies beinig used.

Didn't work for me. I went thru and unchecked everything just to see if I could get a booting rom and it didn't work... Back to square 1 I guess.

i got mine to boot by not including notification enhancements, i have a feeling its because i moduled it..

I have a feeling that there are either new modules or new addresses for the modules in these newer sys builds, which is causing issues with our crappy 6.1 kernels. I have noticed that the old and new kitchens seem to be handling modules slightly differently, which means that there are different issues with the same builds in each different style kitchen. Where's my 6.5 kernel damnit!

i think it is modules, that was what caused mine not to boot

Change this line from:
XipFilename=Apache,WM6.5_23016,Apache_23016.xip.bi n
To:
XipFilename=Apache,WM6.5_23016,Apache_23016_xip.bi n

Then during your build process you should see:
Injecting XIP (Apache_23016_xip.BIN).
A few line up from the end.
Your Last File did not have that.

Good Luck!:mrgreen:

Yeah, good call. I saw it too and was about to post about it (was out all day), but luckily I looked below and saw your post. I'm sure it will work fine now :)

Use XipKitchen. Very easy to use for first timers.

No carrier has released a 6.5 ROM for the CDMA Touch Pros yet. Supposedly, Sprint has "confirmed" a 6.5 update for thier Touch Pro customers, so we are all just waiting :disgust:

Lmiller1708 and JooJooBee666,

THAT WAS IT!!!!

Thank you all for your help!

I will try to be a better programmer and I promise not to copy stuff, just do it right.

Thanks again.

I will await the next iteration with baited breath, now that I think that I know what I am doing.
