@qball1616: Did those kitchen changes work for you?

i couldn't get them to work and it ended making it to where the kitchen wouldn't run at all...i got frustrated with it last night, and i am currently setting the kitchen up again, making all the correct folders etc. based on the way the Da_G has his structure for the kitchen. I am getting ready to put the SYS and XIP files in and see what happens.

I was very encourage to see that your suggestion fixed things for a couple of other people.

I will update you in a little bit

\Storage Card\Pictures and they show up in the titanium pictures section. I hope this works for you

I tried..

\Storage Card\Pictures
\Storage Card\My Documents\Pictures

and they don't show up on Titanium (a soft reboot after each try). When I tried both of these, going into Pictures & Videos and selecting the Storage Card/flash card it just gave me a folder list, so that did not work at all. Thanks for your help

All I want is on my home page (titanum start menu) and scrol up to Pictures and show my pictures from the flash card. Is this not even possable with WM 6.5 ?

I've seen tons of posts on this, and never show anything that fixes the problem.

I updated the code here in my original post. I tested this myself, my kitchen did not crash.

ok so the weirdest thing has happened...the kitchen didn't crash and when i flashed the ROM after it finished flashing the screen went all black and was completely unresponsive and i thought i really messed my phone up, but i am able to get it into the bootloader so i know that all is not that bad...i have no clue what i have messed up

Edit: I noticed that it said that it was not resetting attributes on a few files

Yeah, it errors on some of the files due to the fact that some of those lines only change one attribute, like Read Only. But if it is a marked as System file, you can't. I don't think that's a problem.

Did you see the normal boot screen with Radio numbers and such? If you didn't, that sounds like a totally borked up XIP to me.

Well on the wing when the phone does a normal boot it doesn't show the bootloader just a black screen the a first splash screen, then the windows moble splash screen. The only time you see the bootloader is when you manually enter into it in order to flash a ROM, and when I manually enter into that mode i do see the IPL & SPL numbers

Ahhh, ok. I guess just make sure that you have all the proper OEMXIPKernel files in the right folder. Don't forget to remove the hd.sll and osaxst0.dll since they may make your XIP over run the defined VM ranges.

You should be able to use XIPPort and dump the XIP it made and compare it with one of the other XIP's you made by looking at the files dumped and comparing map.txt.

I checked the XIP out and there was nothing wrong with the XIP, and I know all of the OEM specifics are in the right place...I know the SYS files are good, because they are the one's you posted and noone has complained about them lol...I am thinking that I may have incorrectly put some of the SYS files in the wrong folders in the kitchen and/or left some out by mistake and trying to go to fast while at work and trying to do it without my boss knowing what i was really doing over at my laptop lmao...i am going to re do the SYS files and see if that makes a difference

Yep, I've done the work thing quite a few times:silent:. I think it is probably going to be critical that you make sure all the file attributes are right if you are using the SYS files I posted.

Since your device doesn't seem to have the normal boot up sequence (initial splash, then radio/rom versions, then welcome slpash), make sure you have WinCENLS_WWE and that your boot.rgu being used is configured for using the WinCE.nls from the imgfs instead of the XIP.

It should have some lines likt this:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\AutoLoad\ FLASHDRV]
"DriverPath"="Drivers\\BuiltIn\\FLASHDRV"
"LoadFlags"=dword:1
"Order"=dword:0
"MountAsRoot"=dword:1
"MountAsBootable"=dword:1
"BootPhase"=dword:0

On the Omnia it looks in the DCIM folder that is used by the camera.

Have you tried changing the save location for your camera to see if that will also help to change where the panel looks?
