I haven't had any success creating any builds whatsoever with the visual kitchen. The working xip that i posted came from my old kitchen that i was using based on bepe's old tools etc.

I can't get any build to work right with the new visual kitchen

Try changing OS.payload, dump a original ROM using the kitchen, and use that! See if that helps.

The phone does not alert me when I receive one, even though it is setup to. I can see the text message on the home screen, but once I click on Text Messages on the home screen to open up the message, the text message is gone. Very strange.

I will have to wait until I get home in a few hours to see what I can do to fix this. Since I don't know much about the files, I will probably have to rely on the fine folks here to help me out.

Thanks,
Jeff

I used the older 96dpi files and now my text messaging is working again. I was really missing my text messaging today.

What is different about the older dpi files and the ones from Da_G?

Jeff

The process used to generate the modules in my language/dpi packs isn't quite perfect yet, if you could identify which module(s) are having the problem, that would make it alot easier to fix :)

We've gone through about 20 versions of the program already, it's still being fine tuned :)

I had cooked a rom using the last sys and xip 23001 96 dpi, but after flash, it's looks like that there is a problem with the icon dpi resolution and on the main screen the background doesn't works.
Anyone has any idea about how to solve it?

Regards,
Erick

This can also be caused when using a PIM backup to restore sms. Had it happen to a buddy of mine and it kept resending his sms from the last 6 months. He found out immediately which friends didn't have unlimited sms plans.

It was obviously just one of those things. I reflashed as I revised my ROM and not having any more issues.

Thanks anyway.

Thank you for the suggestion, but i have already done that. To setup my kitchen with the correct folder structures I dumped the original shipped T-Mobile Wing ROM
