Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

I built a 21806 ROM and I am having issues with notifications of Exchange emails on the lock screen and CHome.

For CHome when I get an Exchange email the icon is replaced by a red X.

For the lock screen it will not display a notification for Exchange email and will remove any other notification I have. If I leave the lock screen other notifying objects like CHome show the items.

Any idea on what might be causing this? I have checked the cpr files and they look OK near as I can tell.

red x is usually missing graphic resources, the resources used are set in the registry, not the cpr, so might want to figure out what that panel uses for resourses, then open chomeres.dll in a resource hacker and verify the resourses exsist

How to remove ModemLink shortcut from menu start without deleting ModemLink itself and ATCIUI.lnk from SYS? Or how to move it to a for eg "Network" folder, not "main" start?

Go to your File Explorer, then go to /Windows/Start Menu/Programs you can delete the shortcut or cut&paste it somewhere else.

Excuse me if I am being ignorant but shouldn't that be in the bronzeres.dll. I have checked this and an image does exist for 2207 which is what it is set to use.

I have checked in the chomeres.dll but that is all text strings and does not have any images.
