Did Con give a release date or a hint of it for the titan?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

That was a product of "mr-free".

Conflipper said he has some things fixed like Outlook and stuff. Just wondering about his release.

thanks man, guess i won't bother upping mine then. just finished on my most recent attempt ;)

sorry, I figured it was driver related, not a formatting issue, guess I could have shared earlier

all good man, i'm glad to hear you came across the same solution as me. do you get duplicate errors when building w/that OEM? i just replaced and added the .dll's for the most part which solved the issue.

you wouldn't have happened to have dealt w/any issues w/the camera now would you?

mine functions fine, aside from the fact that the image is upside down.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

well, I don't even have a diamond, just made that a couple months ago to add to ppckitchen camera works fine on touch pro though

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

cool, thanks for the reply.

i'm reading about possible .dll conflicts over on xda... i'll find it sooner or later

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

For tmail problem in QVGA machine that cannot read, reply message or make new message

I have tried for my benQ P51 by using beta 3 VGA sys which has no report of this problem. Replace all DPI 192 folders with DPI 96 folders from QVGA sys as well as use bronze floder from QVGA sys.

By this way I got a new rom from Beta 3 sys that has no tmail problem for QVGA machine.

You can try, it may work in your QVGA machine as well.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

beta3 seemed to fix my tmail issues as well, trying to narrow down this camera but as always i keep getting interrupted. apparently it was an issue in one of no2 chem's releases.

hopefully i can get it sorted out tonight. pretty happy w/the ROM i'm running now.

For instance, I'm trying to download something now and it just intermittently stops. So I'm a bit pessimistic about uploading the ROM, but we'll see.

sorry I couldn't get a ROM uploaded last night. I tried several times and it would always crap out at only 1% uploaded. Yeah, it's that bad. I need to call Comcast. As soon as I get my internet resolved, I'll actively contribute some Diamond ROMs.

I downloaded the kitchen for my htc touch diamond but when I try to to build the rom using the kitchen it says "filename" already exists. How do I pass this step.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

figure out which file there are duplicates of (look in the bottom left of the buildos window to see the directory, and the error popup will tell you the file name).

Ok I know that but what do I do to prevent the duplicate to appear. How do I fix the problem.

Remove the redundant file (or uncheck the conflicting oem when you build).

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

So after using your rom SOHkis...this is what ive found: i was able to fix the internal storage using the trick posted here and as you pointed out the camera is upside down...Also ive had a few problems with crashes, and i have a sneaking suspision that my notifications arent working well....but all in all im pretty impressed

also (and this is probably just an ignorance thing), but since im not using tf3d i cant figure out how to set my sound profiles

anyway great work, and keep it up!

EDIT: I didn't see that you had made a new one, so maybe some of the things ive mentioned here arent applicable anymore

Any idea why it takes soooo long to boot? I see my bootloader for probably 3 mins each time I reset the device. Do you guys experience this as well? Or maybe I'm just using a bad XIP???

Its still not the full version of 6.5 this is very beta, so lags, and errors will occur.

Um, ya, I get that... but this doesnt appear to have anything to do with the OS. Now, any constructive help?

Not sure why you come on here looking for help if you are just going to bash people for giving you an answer.

Seemed to me like a constructive answer... it is an incomplete, beta product. If you don't think it's the OS, or have some kind of theory, please share it... I'm sure the people working on this would love to hear what you have to say.

I meant no disprespect., and certainly was not "bashing" anyone. I asked what I thought was a pretty simple question. A reply saying "this is a beta" doesnt really help anything, IMHO. I was looking to confirm this was a problem for everyone, and if so, what is the issue. If we don't yet know, then just say that. Pointing out the obvious doesnt solve anything. Maybe the "people working on this" will reply with something more helpful.

Cheers!

if there is a lag for you, try unselecting error reporting. made a world of differnce for me with some other 6.5 rom. good luck

Hey Conflipper, in another thread you state "Test Vogue Rom

Honeycomb, Enlarge Menus, New PIE, Panels. New MSN Live" is that the Vogue Rom on the 1st post? By the way kudo on your write-up :headbang:

After Build-Os is done, then click on Build-nb, This will load up a command window and run through a lot of stuff, once it is all done, it will load up a Rom Update Utility. Plug your phone in and then flash.

Make sure your phone is unlocked before trying to do any of this. that is very important.
