Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Id love to, but its not part of our kitchen, and when I've tried to use it in the past as part of visual kitchen, its always crashed on me.

Im not smart enough to use it, apparently.

Download Calcu's kitchen tools, and use it in there. You can just change the PP of an XIP, by putting the same XIP.bin in XIP_new and XIP_old, then run XIPPorterEX, change PP value, and click port. Easy, and you don't even really have to be smart.

I tryed to use his dlls, reg entryes-not even close to that speed :disgust:.
all i know-is he made a custom core and he is a single player, will not share anything.

And here I thought I was going to be working on some fixes in 21806 when I got back how this weekend....guess I was wrong. 21812 for the Titan shall be in the works when I get home...after taking care of some much needed corrections in a couple of my new OEMs (some of which were created by CAB files others have posted over the month....so they aren't mine 100%...but y'all get the picture:))

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Need little help. I build the ROM using SYS 21812 but after first boot I get only errors instead of welcome screen:

"A problem has occured with poutlook.exe". Same for cprog.exe.
Same happent with all 21731 and 21806 versions.

I've recmoded a few packages in the sys like: AdobeFlash, browsingie or WMWidgets.

With same OEM packages I'm able to boot without errors SYS 21728 or 21234.
I've ported the XIP myself as I did in the past for all versions (I use ervius kitchen 9.9).

Thank you in advance for your help.

XIP 21812 for GSM Diamond is attached.. It has been modified so that you can move the WinCENLS to SYS and thus save some storage space.

Oh, and also the Elf 21812 XIP is attached.. With this XIP the clock time will be saved on hard reset / flash.

if you get error while extracting maybe your downloaded file wasn't downloaded correctly so it must have got corrupted :( but still whts the error??

BTW; this file has had till now 13downloads and ur the only one reporting :p so the problem could be from ur side but still check and report :D

I forgot your kitchen doesn't use DSMs. I am still a PPCKitchen addict. Do you happen to have the stock SYS with the DSM's?

I do.. It saves you the trouble of copying the WinCENLS to your XIP every single time there is a new build on your computer. It adds up.

For my ROMs, I have been using the same WinCENLS (> 800KB) for several months now, and I just keep it in my SYS. So there is only one copy on my PC.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

ok i don´t know you kitchen, but i´m using envius kitchen an so i have only to copy OEMXIPKernel folder. Because still have to wait for a real 6.5 OEMXIPkernel for GSM Diamond ........
