Re: HTC Footprints?

This is almost tempting me enough to install tf2d back on my 800w to see if it'll work.

Re: HTC Footprints?

Ok, it appears the culprit was found. There was a missing DLL file which was installed by the ICR which the Footprints program also used. Adding the DLL file to the main CAB allows it to launch without any certificate errors on a Stock Sprint Touch PRO.

Also, there is a fix which now centers the photo correctly which is now added to the CAB I posted (thanks to SztupY).

You can grab the updated CAB here for now until KDKobes puts it on the front page.

Just waiting for XboxMod to finish the TF3D tab/menu plugin so that it's properly integrated.

Are you two talking about enabling "GPS Photo" in the camera? -- because, you should really check to see if the GPS coordinates are being stored. Rumor has it, that they are not.

I played with this for a while, (Footprints,) and I got bored quickly. I like how GPSToday just does it for me in the background. I don't have to wait for a lock to take a picture.

I can see it being a little fun to record notes or whatever, but most of the time, (99%, actually,) I just want my photo tagged. In that case, GPSToday wins hands down--much more configurable.

I am thinking of going back to a non-iolite ROM, because my RAM usage is WAY too freakin' high now... Between 75%-80%, and my phone keeps killing applications, EVEN with autokill disabled in registry...

Have you actually verified that the GPS Photo camera setting actually works? The Sprint TP had it disabled, and when people forced it through regedits, it seemingly did not work.

I would check if I were you--just an fyi

Ok I'll check it out but lets say it didn't work all the more reason to get footprint working on the TP and I do like the GPS Today program as well too but a tab right to what I would want to do would be great

Yeah, it's definitely convenient

I just like taking a picture, and having it auto-tagged

I currently have both footprints, and GPSToday...

At first, I thought footprints was going to tag my pictures--but I soon realized I had to make little post-cards... they aren't pictures at all... custom files...

I lost interest real quick, because I'd rather be able to take the pictures over to flikr, photobucket, etc...

Still a fun little gimmick though...
