How do I work Remote Desktop Mobile?

I have a Vista Business Setup, and an HTC Touch Pro (Sprint, Jugallo) with a Remote Desktop Mobile app.

How do I go about setting this up?

What remote desktop application do you have. I am running the app from www.web-remote.com. With this app you go to the website and register, download the application, and just simply login. once you login you will be given an option to start the program. I tried this on opera and Skyfire and it's major kick A55. Hope this helps.

I think he's talking about the Remote Desktop app that comes on the phone already with Juggalo's Rom. I have been wanting to know how to use this for a year or so lol. just never really asked. I've been content to use logmein. dont know if there is any advantage of using Remote Desktop over logmein.

Well, using the native Remote Desktop can be a chore, but it can be done.

1) Set up port forwarding on your router to forward port 3389 to whichever IP your desktop is located.

2) Make sure your Vista machine has a user name and password

3) Make sure the Firewall to the Vista machine will allow the Remote Desktop program through

4) Once all that is done, log into the machine by entering your WAN IP address (that's the one from the outside, not the 192.... one). It will ask for username and password, and your in!

To answer your other question, the only "real" advantage to Remote Desktop over Logmein, one less thing to sign up for, but that's not a big deal.
Logmein is really good for people whose IP addresses change daily, as logmein "dials back home" to your PC through it's service.

I am a fan of logmein, but don't worry, I had to be shown the way, as I used Remote Desktop for years!! Thanks Jack!

Thanks for all the help guys, I am actually just going to try logmein free, that seems to be the best solution. I'll report back on my findings !

EDIT: How do I pan around?
